Pretty successful deck got to top 100 legend for the first time with it
Mulligan for brain masseuse, clergy , weapon or Gorgonzormu
Main gameplan is to make a huge early game board from weapon and priest overheal stuff, finish your opponent using acupunctures + parrots.
If the game gets longer remember you can duplicate/repeat the 1 mana cards generated by Griftah or Grub
LAST UPDATE:
Added 2 Cult Neophyte and Dreamplanner Zephrys in order to have better chances against Mage , Shaman and Rogue
Very fun deck! Who would've thought... aggro priest.
I'm still making lots of mistakes during my learning process of this deck but nevertheless it's successful.
went 5-0 but stopped when I felt my soul drying up. it's fun for a few games, but the gameplan of: play a 1 mana minion on turn 1, a 2 on turn 2, etc finish with amanthul to scam you the win every game got dull fast. I'm just not built to grind aggro decks on ladder lol. I'mma go back to losing as rogue
and the mixologists are EXCELLENT. card draw, minion freeze, armor, aoe, you can pull basically whatever you need out of him. great idea!
I have a completely different experience than you have.
The deck has multiple choices to play each turn, so you have to carefully choose which route you go.
I only played 8 games so far but I haven't played Aman'Thul even once. The games were over by the time I got enough mana to play him.
You are Einstein
Really great performing and surprisingly fun to play deck, got 10-1 with it, silver to platina tho, but still. Excited to play more of it, Big ups!
One of the problems that I found with the deck has is that sometimes you fill your board completely and the opponent just ignores it to draw cards, in order to clear everything in the next turn (mainly druids and warriors) , having dropped an early ascendant forces him to answer asap or die.
For example when going first , turn 1 masseuse turn 2 ascendant gives many decks a lot of problems.
Anyway it was my third option as 2 drop, is not the core of the deck, so yes maybe Thrive in the Shadows makes sense as the deck has little spells and you can grant it to find the spell you want.
sry forgot to say, nice deck :)
fast deck, played a few games.
do you use Shadow Ascendant much?
was thinking to replace it with thrive in the shadows to get Acupuncture more often.
