Currently r10 with deck.
Undertaker can still be pretty strong on this deck.
Just be careful when you trade, but its a mostly face deck.
Um deck bem engraçado rs, mas valeu a pena conseguir ganhar bem e fazer missão rs
One of my favorite decks. I have been very consistent with it. I did make the following changes:
-1 Jeeves +1 Rivendare
How does this do against Zoo?
50/50.. depends on who gets the better draw
Doesn't work in low rank anymore, gets wrecked by any zoo deck
Tirion seems like a very late game card. I wouldn't recommend him for this deck. This is pretty much an all face deck so you don't want late game cards. If you really want to try it out swap the Dr. Doom with Tirion. The secrets are essential in the deck since they compliment each other really good and they combo with Mad Scientist. Try playing tempo or control deck if you want to use less secrets and Tirion. Remember this is aggro deck. Try to compare it to zoo. You go face 90% of the time and you trade when necessary.
As for Jeeves I recommend Dancing Swords or a King Mukla.
Cheers bud.
I guess Sea Giant is not a bad choice at all. You can probably get one in there pretty early too if the opportunity arises. Let me know how it goes.
What can i use as a substitute for Dr. Boom despite Avenging Wrath? I have none of them
Really great deck. The only bad match up I have seen is Mech Mage. Have you had problems with Mages?
Double Divine Favor is usually a problem. I have replaced one with a Quartermaster, but played only few games with the change.
Dont really have trouble with mech mage unless none of my concecrates drop. Quarter master seems a bit useless if you cant combo it with a Muster for Battle. Try it out and let me know how it goes. I would much rather add an avenging wrath or add a Dancing swords for a divine favor or King Mukla might be good one too.
This deck seem pretty poor in the current meta....I'm 0-6 so far with it, dropped from rank 10 to 12.
What is your mulligan strategy you've been using? Also, I've just been curb stomping people with this deck (rank 9 atm) and casual. It seems like the other player gets the upper hand and then I just pop Dr. Boom, equality/consecrate, jeeves, divine favor, or they pop secrets and it just screws them.
Would there be any other legendary cards that could be substituted in to make this deck even better?
This deck rocks in the current meta. I'm a medium-skilled player who had been oscillating between ranks 11-12 for the last week with a popular handlock deck, then dropped to 13 after a loss streak against some aggro mages/shamans. Was getting really frustrated. I'd never played paladin in ranked play but decided to try this deck. Made it and immediately started playing it in ranked, not caring if I tanked my rating while learning it.
Result after my first 16 games: 12-4, gained 4 ranks up to rank 9! And one of those losses was definitely due to a beginner mistake. (Opponents: 5 shaman, 2 handlock, 2 zoo lock, 3 mage, 2 priest, 1 druid, 1 pally.) And that was without Dr. Boom, can't wait to add him to this deck! Thanks very much Collita!
Update 12/26: Hit Rank 6 today. :0 The last dozen games I have experimented with substituting a Dancing Swords for one of the Divine Favor. So far it's worked fairly well, although it's too early to tell. The idea is that it (1) solves the problem of drawing a double DF in hand, which is usually a death knell. (2) Adds another early-game deathrattle for Undertaker, which is often critical. (3) It is quite powerful for early board control, and in particular is the bane of Spider Tank, which I'm seeing frequently. lf played on turn 3 it often complicates an opponent's decision on their first AOE or removal spell. If it gets the Avenge proc on their turn 4, which has happened twice for me, it is a huge game-changer. (4) Makes your remaining DF slightly more powerful because it may have added a card to the opponent's hand before you play your one DF. Obviously its deathrattle is a disadvantage, but the disadvantage is a little less for a paladin with DF in their deck.
I will try it out right now. Seems like a good idea since double DFs are so annoying in this deck.
hi,
great improvement from previous deck idea. I havve swap -2 muster for battle as I don't have them for +1 ironbeak owl and +1 Avenging wrath. Working really well
Any mulligan advice?
I like to mulligan with any 1-2 mana minion and depending on the encounter I like having a consecrate if I see a potential aggro opponent. The lowest, the better.
Mad scientiest is a really nice mulligan and avenge and noble sacrifice is too. When mad scientist dies you either get avenge or NoS. Rule of thumb: Always follow a noble of sacrifice with juggler and an avenge with a creeper.
And never save cards since you want to take as much advantage as possible of divine favor or jeeves.
I hope this helps a bit.
It does, thanks!
Dude congratz rly on the deck i was stuck at 9 with my divine pala deck, started using this one (dont have the dr.boom yey so im using avenging) and it got me to rank 5 alredy :) 5*
Hmm.. i feel like jeeves has gotten me out of trouble many times.
Kudos on r9! I am r6 at the moment and hoping to get lower with this deck.
