New Yogg!
This deck uses Prescience to reliably draw the powerful Titans Golganneth, the Thunderer and Yogg-Saron, Unleashed, and it uses Cold Storage to play more copies of them.
(Don't forget to use their ability before freezing them, as their abilities are unusable while frozen!)
If that gameplan isn't enough, the backup plan is to do nature shaman stuff. I most often pick Ring of Tides from Queen Azshara to use as a bonus copy of Bioluminescence, but other options are okay given different circumstances.
Mulligan
Golganneth, the Thunderer, Cold Storage, Schooling and Prescience are definitely keeps. Most of the deck is playable spells, so don't feel bad about tossing stuff.
Is it good?
I mean, you're playing nature shaman but with more Golganneths and a Yogg. It's good.
Any general swaps you like or use? Sweet deck too by the way
My initial decklist looked quite different, even though the main idea was still to use prescience to tutor Yogg and Golganneth. After a lot of tinkering, this is the list I landed on. So I don't have any swaps, because this was the list I was the most happy with.
If you have any card you want to try slotting in though, turn the tides and altered chord are probably the three least important cards. And Queen Azshara is the least important minion if you want to try a different third minion.
I haven't been playing this list much lately anyway, because top legend has been swarmed by druids (both miracle and jailer lists). I think this prescience shaman is a solid deck all around, but it's too slow into those druid lists in particular. They just don't care about a turn 6 Golganneth, unlike most decks.
this deck is garbage
You got it favorited, what decks did you make for standard right now?
Great deck, just gets absolutley ruined by moon druid. Trying to think of some tech cards.
The only time I faced a moon druid, I applied so much pressure with schoolings and feral spirits and such that they ran out of burn trying to survive. But potentially you could try to fit in some primordial waves to devolve their spell damage minions.
It sounds like a completely different deck to me
Which deck sounds completely different? I assumed "moon druid" meant the spell damage moonbeam OTK druid. So if I misunderstood the labeling, that's my bad.
If you mean that titan shaman pressuring with early minions sounds like a different deck, that's just a consequence of macro play. Against moonbeam druid, you have to assume the role of the aggressor, because they're likely going to combo faster than you. That means dumping as many minions as you can early, forfeiting them as bioluminescence targets for later.
Although with prison breaker slotting into moonbeam druids, it may just be an unfavored matchup now, because your early minions don't have more than 3 health.
Any good swaps for Queen Azshara?
I saw a similar list that ran rivendare warrider instead of queen azshara. You'd take out both bioluminescences for one from de other side and another card, probably an altered chord. It's a different end game, but still has the same prescience package. Could make some other swaps like scalding geyser for feral spirit to find the riders more easily.
great job really nice and fun deck :D
