It's a tough time for shaman fans.., but I managed to create this off-meta deck with a decent winrate. It's an updated list with a combination of two archetypes from the past, evolve and control. I have had a lot of success with this deck and it feels strong and reliable and has answers to most of the threats in the current meta. The best part is that no one expects you playing this on ladder, everyone thinks that you are playing aggro totem.

If you are missing some of the legendary or epic cards in this deck, please do not craft anything as I'm regularly updating the list and also this is a very expensive deck.

Pro tip: A part of the gameplan is always to try to stay ahead on board with your minions. We do that by trading off opponents minions, but the minion which you are trading with has to survive so you can evolve it to a new minion. Your opponent then keeps losing his minions and you get new fresh ones. A good example is rushing for example Brass Elemental and taking down two minions and then evolving it with for example Muck Pools if you have it active and you have yourself a fresh 5 cost minion on board.

Another tip: If you are fighting for board, then cards like Crud Caretaker is ok to put out, but ideally and the most efficient way is to play Crud Caretaker if you have Muck Pools active or Convincing Disguise in hand so you can evolve the 1/1 right away. Same strategy applies to cards like Brass Elemental, Command of Neptulon or Overlord Drakuru

This goes for all higher cost minions with low stats: 1. Take advantage of the minions effect/battlecry 2. Trade into something, but keep your minion alive 3. Evolve right away if possible.

Melomania + Schooling = 3 free spells

Pack the House is a naughty board refiller after major board clears.

Primordial Wave This card is a must have in this deck and you have to use it wisely as it serves several functions, 1: You can use this card to eliminate the threat from minions with increased/buffed stats like imps, mechs, murlocs or other important minions with deathrattles or reborn. 2: Evolve your own minions, preferably the ones which are damaged into new fresh ones.

Cards inside ETC: Smothering Starfish , Hex and Theotar, the Mad Duke OR Deathwing the Destroyer if you are matching up against a lot of Jailer + Tony combo Druids
