HOW TO PLAY:

Mulligan:
It's no secret we need to find Shadowed Spirit asap. Keep the quest>play the quest. Mulligan everything that is not Insight Witchwood Piper or Shadowed Spirit of course.

Early Game For All Matchups (except mills that have armor gains and/or hp gains. This will depend on the current meta and also your rank):
Play a Shadowed Spirit at 3 mana if you have one, coin it out if you go second. You want it dead asap, trade badly if needed, especially if the oppo might have some transform debuffs. Don't get greedy waiting a turn 4 to give it Embalming Ritual , you can always get embalming value later. Even litterally the turn after if you happen to have any resummon tools in your hand and being the theme of deck you are most likely to have one. So there's basically no case where you should do that.

VS Aggro:
Do everything you can to prioritize quest completion over setting up future good turns with specific draws and such. If the situation gets dire and you happen to have drawn a lot of minions already remeber that Insight and Witchwood Piper will fetch minions so you might get Blackwater Behemoth to save the sinking ship.  Remeber that you can give reborn also to Blackwater Behemoth if the case requires it. Remember that Bonecaller IT'S NOT an undead and WILL NOT trigger Grave Digging and Shadow Word: Undeath , so if you have to once again trade horribly to set up a turn that you forsee you'll need to have an undead dead (a.k.a. Shadowed Spirit) do so. Also you can set it up yourself with The Light! It Burns! and kill it off yourself, wich although not optimal, is a tool you have at your disposal. Don't get greedy with turn choice when playing Amara, Warden of Hope , just slap that bad girl on the board as soon as you complete it, you'll have plenty of room to work with and the decks has enought self recycle and draw to get you where you need to be plenty fast. Also by that point you should have already dealt enought with all those summons to a deck wich usually doesn't have a lot of healing except Sire Denathrius in some cases, so just be aware of that. Remember that even if you don't 1 turn kill' them with Xyrella, the Devout , she gives you 5 armor when played and also always starts with the healing hero power for 5 hp, so you can recover 5hp+5armor at turn 10 while summong a bunch of Spirits. Playing Bonecaller at 4 to stop the hurty-hurty to go the face it's a valid option, you can get him back with Twilight's Call later turns or by simply playing another one from hand and starting the hole, reborn, resummon process and it will buy you time to get to your stabilization faster. Remember that Shadowcloth Needle only work with SHADOW spells, of wich you have plenty of.

VS Control:
Now the situation may vary here but generally you have to be aware of 2 main things:
Mill decks:
In this case you'll have to try to empty your hand in the most intelligent way possible whenever you have the opprtunity and VERY IMPORTANT, find the best way to start shuffling Amulet of Undying asap multiple times, when using Thrive in the Shadows discover that and start shuffling even when it's not mana efficient for your turn. After that pray you don't burn it.
Decks that gain a lot of armor and/or have a lot of hp:
Be greedy, value plays over everything. Same concept before still applies, start shuffling Amulet of Undying as a priority, even over playing a Shadowed Spirit at turn three (or turn two+coin). Use the fingers to do elementary math before playing Xyrella, the Devout .

General Rules:
"When in doubt trade it out." Trading is almost always beneficial to you it will remove things from the opponent side of the board, while smorking for 3 damage and giving you more Xyrella, the Devout fuel. Prioritize embalming Bonecaller if possible. Coining Grave Digging at 3 it's actually a good play when drawing badly. Discovering Thrive in the Shadows with Thrive in the Shadows it's actually a good play if you are trying to increase the chances of getting a specific card, alongside the other fetching methods you have with minions and the other draw engines present in the deck, as it thins out the deck. If you need to play Insight play it, the corrupted value is non significant to the deck, it's there because fetches minions. Both Shadowcloth Needle and Shadow Word: Undeath deal damage to heroes as well, remeber that because you might miss lethal focusing on your summon chains instead. Max dmg possible with Xyrella is 84.

HAVE FUN :)
