Hello everyone, Piggie here.

While I was wandering around on HSReplay, my eye fell a very similar of this deck, which seems to have great succes in high legend (>10 legend) by NoHandsGamer and l3bjorge95. I decided to play it myself as I was stuck in Diamond 3 with playing Skeleton Mage. And I can tell you, this deck is an absolute blast for me so far, going 12-1 from D3 to Legend.

As this is a Denathrius deck, it may seem that that is our only win condition. However, as we are a control deck, we have many tools to win the game.
This deck can have a very highroll opener. By discounting Goldshire Gnoll with Schooling, we can as early as turn 3 have a 10-drop by using Muck Pools or Primordial Wave on our Goldshire Gnoll. Often, this will blow the opponent completely out of the water. Furthermore, Primordial Wave is also a great card against Skeleton mage, as devolving their Skeletons means that they didn't die such that they won't be resurrected by Kel'Thuzad, the Inevitable.

When facing aggro, the gameplan is quite simple: Survive. The Murloc package is what helps make this possible. Playing Firemancer Flurgl with Clownfish and Amalgam of the Deep is a cheap and very effective board clear. Against imp-lock, your win-condition is simply playing Snowfall Guardian when they have board-locked themselves to hit them in their face hard.

Against other control decks, we have quite a number of disruption cards, being Mutanus the Devourer, Theotar, the Mad Duke and of course Brilliant Macaw. Big minions from the opponent (mainly the ramp druids) can be frozen by Snowfall Guardian and Sleetbreaker, or we make use of our Insatiable Devourer to clear their minions and create a giant threat ourselves.

Of course, when Sire Denathrius is in our mulligan, we can combo the opponent very hard as well. Having played a Schooling beforehand, on turn 9 we can play one Piranha Swarmer, Kael'thas Sinstrider, followed up by our now free buffed up Sire Denathrius. Then, we can play double Piranha Swarmer and a free Brilliant Macaw to hit the opponent again with the Denathrius damage. Playing a solo Denathrius on turn 10 followed up by Bolner Hammerbeak, Brann Bronzebeard and Brilliant Macaw is also a combo the opponent is not likely to survive.

In order to get towards our survivability and combo, we run 2 Famished Fool and 2 Gorloc Ravager for our card draw, which is normally more than enough.

I hope you guys give this deck a try and have the same succes as I have. If you have any questions or tips, fire away!
