Abstract Complete Quest by turns 7-8. Rely on big draw spells and Guardian Animals to flood the board with massive beasts. Additionally, this deck utilized druid's ramping tools such as Biology Project and Wildheart Guffto speed up the early game while being at 40 health allows us to stall in the early game. A unique playstyle is accompanied by this deck but is extremely rewarding when piloted perfectly.

Introduction Jungle Giants is my favorite Quest of all time. I try to make it work whenever a good five-attack minion is released. However, this time, I am retrying this deck because of Prince Renathal. This may sound crazy, but I think this is one of the VERY few decks where having a 40-card deck is an enormous upside. Believe it or not, I used to unironically run prince malchezaar to grant me just a little more steam. No matter how worthless they were, five more minions were worth it. Most minions don't need to be too assertive when they cost zero mana.

Well, as you could probably guess, Prince Renathal is a game-changer. We get to choose ten extra minions, AND our starting health is set to 40! Not to mention, Prince Malchezaar would often screw up oaken summons with small legendaries. Of course, Prine Renathal does the same, but at least we know that the low roll is at the VERY least a 3/4, which is fine.

I've added the beast package this time, which I think is the best package for this deck (my second favorite variant is the dragon package, which is good because Breath of Dreams is so strong).

Deck Breakdown

The early game will be the most challenging part for this deck. There will be a lot of pressure from the opponent and usually multiple green cards in hand. We are really hoping to have Lunar Eclipse, Biology Project, Frostwolf Kennels, Oaken Summons, or Wildheart Guff. Always keep all of them except for duplicates. Also, great to hold Prince Renathal in the mulligan as we are more than happy to play him on three, and our oaken summons will have no more whiffs. I've also found the King Mukla is pretty good on three. Those Bananas are just so freaking slow by today's standards. We are quite happy if the opponent spends two precious mana crystals on bananas in the early game and not an entire board full of mechs while still maintaining a full hand.

Now we transition into the midgame. We are probably starting to fall behind on board if we did not summon a 5/10 with taunt by ATLEAST turn four. And playing Moonfang on five just doesn't cut it these days. This will be the slowest part of our game plan. We are running out of steam, our hand is getting chunky and clunky, our Quest is nowhere near complete, and the opponent has a lot of pirates. To hopefully speed up the completion of our Quest, we want to start getting multiple ticks in a single turn; this is done with cards like Green-Thumb Gardener, Guardian Animals, Winged Guardian. Green thumb gardener is perfect for finishing the Quest because we can easily play Barnabus on the same turn.

Let's talk late game. We just completed the Quest, and let's be honest, had we started the game with ten less health, we would be very dead. So we have some options here. Likely the board is not looking too pretty at the moment, but we really want to slam our five mana do nothing dinosaur. So if you think you will survive and have a good follow-up next turn or a draw this turn, I'd advise you to play Barnabus immediately. Assuming you are not dead on board, you will win the game if you have Ultimate Infestation playable after Barnabus has hit the board. This deck has the craziest swings I've ever seen from any deck. And with a deck size of 40, we have so much reload. This is also when Guardian Animals becomes completely busted. We can now pull ANY beast from our deck because they will all cost five or less.

 Card Inclusions

Here are the cards that you should keep in your mulligan:

Biology Project is probably the card that we are the most excited to see in our opening hand. It allows us to both ramp and cheat cards out the turn it is played. The extra mana is certainly better for us than our opponent.

Jungle Giants should always be kept. Even in unfavorable matchups, our best shot at winning is probably going to be some miracle Barnabus into crazy Guardian Animals with 1 health remaining. and tossing quest is for cowards anyways.

Lunar Eclipse is good for a similar reason to Biology Project. There are many awkward moments where we really want to playoakens summons, but there is a threatening minion on board. lunar eclipse allows us to play key cards while still fighting for tempo.

Frostwolf Kennels is here to guarantee that we have something on board for the next 3 turns. it is excellent tempo for the early game and doesn't screw with our oaken summons package. We never feel bad about bio projecting this out on turn 2.

Oaken Summons is one of the best cards in the deck. Definitely just want to play this as soon as possible. One thing to keep in mind if you want to bio project or coin out oaken summons is that it may cause archmage vargoth to whiff. The relevance of this risk will be up to you to decide within each individual game and board state.

Wildheart Guff once again is an insanely good card. He is played in almost every druid deck, standard and wild. like most druid decks, ramp and card draw is exactly what this deck wants.

Prince Renathal is probably the weakest card to play from hand in the deck. However, this deck desperately needs early game plays. Besides, having renathal in hand means that oaken summons has no more bad pulls.

King mukla is a fine card to play on 3 (unless you are playing against mage). The card is pretty underrated. The bananas are just so dang slow by today's standards. If the opponent is spending 2 whole mana to give a minion +2/+2 we are totally happy because we just played a 3 mana 5/5.

This is the oaken summons Package:

I don't think I need to go over it too much. Injured Marauder, Archmage Vargoth, and Cursed Disciple have really good synergy with Oaken Summons

Here are the midgame cards:

Aquatic Form is a 0 mana card, but I don't suggest keeping it in your opening hand. It is pretty much a dead card until like turn 5 so you would much rather just have a different card in that hand spot. It can be quite useful for filling in those dead turns. There are a lot of 5 mana minions in this deck, so perhaps it could just be a midgame curve fill in. or maybe it lets you draw some zero mana minions after barnabus.

.

Capture Coldtooth Mine is basically to tutor our ultimate infestation. in most situations you just want to pick the highest cost card. however if you are feeling alright on handsize, maybe after barnabus it could just draw you a 0 cost minion.

Green-Thumb Gardener does some pretty silly things in this deck. It is probably the best card to finish the quest with because it will usually replenish you mana, allowing you to immediately play barnabus. 0 mana 5/5 that sometimes even lets you gain mana I don't think needs much explanation.

Azsharan Sentinel is exactly the card that this deck loves to see. We really need to start to stabilize on turn five. and there are literally only two other 5 attack 5 mana taunt minions in the game, Druid of the Claw and Booty Bay Bodyguard. I used to run Dark Arakkoa (without C'Thun) just because i needed a solid 5 attack taunt minion. Soon it would be replaced by Smug Senior and now finally we have Azsharan Sentinel. Sentinel is really good in this deck for two main reasons. 1) as mentioned it has 5 attack and is easy to cheat at 5 mana. for example, we play biology project into frostwolf kennels on turn 2 and turn 3 follow up with azsharan sentinel. 2) it shuffles MORE minions into our deck for even more steam. very solid minions too. it feels like this card was literally built for this deck.

Guardian Animals is gross in this deck. I will just toss the entire package into this paragraph. This card instantly gives us two ticks towards the quest, and allows us to fight for the board very efficiently. We can pull Moonfang, Sinrunner, King Mukla, and Twilight Runner. That is fantastic and all, but that is not even the cap for guardian animals. Post-barnabus, it can pull ANY beast as they all cost 0 mana. for 7 mana summoning  Oondasta and some Winged Guardians with rush is just ridiculous.

And finally, here are Late game cards:

Claw Machine can be used in the midgame, but it is so strong at 0 mana. It allows us to clear something big and chain into another massive 0 mana minion. I'm definitely considering adding a second copy to this list.

Miracle Growth and Ultimate Infestation are the carries of late game. if you are able to play either of them after barnabus' effect has gone off, you will  win the game. This deck has the most swingy turns I've seen from any deck.

Goliath, Sneed's Masterpiece and Fizzy Elemental are just solid reactive cards. PLaying them for 0 mana will usually swing just about any board into your favor.

Ending Statements Anyways, this is my masterpiece. I've spent a lot of time refining this deck, so please let me know what you think or if you have any suggestions. I piloted this deck from diamond 8 to diamond 3; I think I could push it even higher if I wanted to. This deck is NOT broken, you will NOT hit legend with it, reasonably, but it sure is  A TON of fun and will definitely have some memorable moments if you want to give the deck a try.

I would write about this deck all day, as you could probably tell, but this will surely not be my last iteration of the deck, so I must save my breath. I obviously did not talk about every card in the deck, and there are some weird inclusions. I will happily speak on each card if this post gets like seven upvotes or something. ok bye have a nice day

So I got wrecked by shudderwock. - YouTube

Here’s a very lazy video lol. Didn’t even win, just a random game I wanted to film in hopes of winning. I didn’t edit the video at all I recommend watching on 2x.
