I built this deck to 40 cards with care to support the 30 card big beast hunter strategy I already had, also trying to deal with the fact that almost all enemies will be 40 health now.

UPDATED from testing against meta

A few notes/additions:

  • Added Freezing Trap to better support secrets and using Dun Baldar Bunker
  • Dire Frenzy is insane value, especially to get more longevity. Hang onto them, but they're best used on King Krush and Mountain Bear
  • Marked Shot allows you to wipe out early threats and build more spells for control/boost
  • Mutanus is great to wipe a creature from your enemy's hand, as always, and unexpected by your opponent in this deck
  • UPDATE: Removed cards that were not working in meta and slowing down the deck and board
  • UPDATE: Added Barak Kodobane to assist in drawing key spells
  • UPDATE: Added 2 x Selective Breeder, to put more copies of important beasts into your hand
  • UPDATE: Added Warsong Wrangler to further improve boosts to beasts in your deck
  • UPDATE: Added Acidic Swamp Ooze to wipe out annoying weapons from your opponent
  • UPDATE: Added Blademaster Okani, to help counter late spells

Mulligan for (from testing so far): Tracking, Pet Collector, Dun Baldar Bunker, Barak Kodobane, Harpoon Gun, Warsong Wrangler, Marked Shot
