This is my first submission of a deck. I am Krip not Kripparian just to be clear, (it was my Shaman's name from the WoW days.) With that said I have consistently hit legend for about a year now making my own decks. Occasionally, I will play a meta deck that is just too good to pass up but I enjoy making my own adjustments. End of backstory. In this deck you will find the following...
-Tech picks and counters vs current meta.
-Solid consistency and win % vs majority of decks.
-A way to farm games on ladder or at Legend rank.
The idea of the deck isn't too complicated, the idea is to keep it simple. Stack as many curses you can as quickly as possible. Curse warlock is strong but struggles vs aggro and tempo. In this deck you will want to utilize your AOE effects and any combo you can with Tamsin. In sticky situations, Smothering Starfish provides a utility to use strategically as it gives you an out vs paladins or murloc decks. However, you only get one chance with it so you use is wisely.
With the ever growing popularity of Brann + Mutanus I've decided spells weren't the answer, but you still want to avoid it the best you can. Rather than adding more spells I decided it was best to add a few more minions that can take the hit. Example (Removing Twisting Nether with minions that share similar battlecries.)
2 Weapons force the need for at least one weapon removal from your opponent.
Vs Control decks it's a fairly easy going game to keep pace. You'll see.
Vs Demon Hunters its tough but its still possible to win. (Definitely the hardest matchup next to Mech Paladin.)
I will update this post and or create more guides depending on the popularity. Good luck to you! Enjoy!
Love this deck.
legit bro! thanks for the lesson
I've been trying curse-lock with and now without the rod as I find it's awesome when you can get value from it but not essential for slow games and just too slow against fast decks without multi-draw options and the gnolls help a lot more against those matchups - do you find using Grimoire rather than customer helps you keep up?
Upvote for first deck too!
I think is good enough 1 Runed Mithril Rod and 1 Goldshire Gnoll
