Mulligans:

always keep Lightforged Cariel 

All minions for the early stages of the game in order to conquer the board in the early stages of the game. That is : Knight of Anointment ; Battle Vicar ; Shimmering Sunfish ; Alliance Bannerman ; Cariel Roame 

If you have Shimmering Sunfish in the mulligan there is no need to keep a Holy spell as well because the chances of drawing it on turn 3 are very high.

Only in some matchupps do I recommend that you keep Equality / City Tax. For example against an aggro deck like murloc shaman where you need to remove the board in the first few turns. If you are unsure whether you are playing aggro, do not keep these cards.

Tips:

Although it is a deck control this deck plays a lot of presence on the board. So try to do tempo play and value trade. It has many ways of doing mass removals if things go wrong.


Lightray I found this card very strong in Holy paladin. play well with Holy Maki Roll and with Varian, King of Stormwind it can be drawn at 0 and played at the same turn a bit like Devout Pupil in the old Libram Paladin.

Win with presence on board and eventually close with Mr. Smite.
