This isn't meant to be a wild deck, but Brann Bronzebeard isn't standard legal as far as this deckbuilder is concerned so here we are. I might fix it later, I might not. I also should probably wait to see the whole core set but ohhhhh weellll.

When Pirate Admiral Hooktusk was revealed I thought she alone couldn't beat Kazakusan ever, because even though you can steal half the treasures they start drawing them first and draw them 100% of the time. However, if you go Brann + Hooktusk you just steal all the treasures and that's all she wrote. The main way to do this would be Scabbs hero power, but you can also do it by having the coin or pre-stepping either Brann or Hooktusk. 

I don't think a control deck can beat getting all 10 treasures stolen, but you can still lose to Kazakusan on curve, not having Hooktusk active in time, or just not drawing her and Brann in time. Dredge and Cutlass Courier should mostly fix that last one, though. 

In general this seems like a decent midrange deck. There's some explosive openers you could do with Azsharan Vessel and Gone Fishing, the turn 1-3 seems decent enough to not die, and there's a lot of very high value stuff you can do later with Brann, burglar, amalgam of the deep and Hooktusk. The main thing I'm concerned about is losing to quests.

I might be trolling by not running Edwin, Defias Kingpin and Mr. Smite. I felt I had too many expensive cards for Edwin but I could be wrong. I also don't think too highly of my deckbuilding skills. There's probably a bunch of problems I'm not aware of.
