Hey Hey Hi Hello this is my fourth or fifth deck guide I don't really remember, but anyways to mix it up I'm attaching a video of five matches I played with this deck earlier tonight. Yes the ranks are low, but I haven't played standard very much in recent days so the meta is something I'm catching up on... but anyways hope you enjoy! Forgive me for the ridiculous commentary I've never really done a video guide before and I'm still figuring out the ropes haha. (Constructive criticism is always welcome)

The Gameplan

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

So ideally you're looking to see big daddy Manndar in your hanndar as soon as the game starts. The tempo you pick up by dropping him on turn 3/4 is massive, especially if you high roll and get the opportunity to bounce him back to hand with his best friend Shadow Hunter Swol'Jin.

So, in a perfect world... you've managed to jam Vanndar down on turn 3 with coin, followed by a Sermon turn 4, and cheated a Big Boi out of your hand with Vol'jin on turn 5, all while placing  Vanndar back into your hand to be played again at the next best chance you get... for a massive -6 mana cost to all the big bois you choose to run. Sounds fun right?

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Okay so a few things. I mostly run the cards I do so I can keep this deck in a budget. I mainly play Wild, so my dust mainly gets used for decks over there. This is just kind of something I threw together to mess with a friend, and I wound up having a decent bit of success with some various versions over the past few months. The wild version is well... wild. But this version in standard seems relatively reliable? Who can say, I still have some ranks to climb. If you're legend rank and bored, let me know how it fares for you up there!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

TLDR; Hope you have fun! Just pray for the best and let your big buddies take care of you. 5 mana 8/8 is the dream. 7 mana 4/4 is nightmare

The Packages

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

High Rollers

  • Manndar, Swol'Jin on curve

The Big Bois

  • Cavalry Horn, Commencement, Swol'Jin to cheat Big Bois early
  • Mo'arg Forgefiend, Scrapyard Colossus, and Templar Captain as big taunts
  • Runaway Blackwing, Lokholar the Ice Lord, and Templar Captain as big removal
  • Libram of Hope as big heal

It's important to note that you want to put your biggest and baddest guys in here, so let this just be a suggestion. What works for me may not be what works best for you, so test some stuff out and let me know what big bois work best yeah?

Honorably Mentionable Big Bois:

Brasswing, Turalyon the Tenured, Highlord Fordragon, Keymaster Alabaster, Humongous Big Owl, Abominable Lieutenant, Onyxia the Broodmother.

All these lovely fellas have seen some play, and they've all been a lot of fun. But I like my guys atm. Low cost owls and a gift of luminance is some real hilarity, but anyways test the waters!

The Heals and Control

  • Vitality Surge (x2) and Libram of Hope (x2) are our heals
  • Consecration, Barricade are our main early game board control cards
  • The Secret Package: I run Blessed Goods (x1) as an early game option, against aggro or zoo it helps to set up some defence early. Noble Sacrifice (x2) and Galloping Savior (x2) serve as potential cards to catch you opponent slippin. Also helpful for checking Counterspell and similar spells before casting Commencement.

The Expendables(or Sideboard, idk)

  1. Secret Package
    • So I like running these, but I think all five of these cards have great potential on the cutting board. They're nice, and they've saved my butt sometimes... But I'm learning the meta and I think even cutting one copy of Noble Sacrifice and Galloping Savior could be realistic. I really do have a soft spot in my heart for 'discover' cards, so I don't see Blessed Goods leaving the deck.
  2. Barricade (x1) as a tech slot
  3. Vitality Surge (x1) for Libram of Justice (x1)
  4. Vitality Surge (x1) for Righteous Defense (x1) or even (x2) if you're feeling a certain kind of way
