Face hunter seems to be more prevalent so I went with some taunt/heal and extra removal.
Beast druid can be a really tough matchup if you don't draw cheap removal like Firebrand plus a 1 cost removal to deal with all the early game tokens before their swing turn of 4/4s and 4/5s for free with oracle.
Thief Rogue seems really popular and I have done pretty well if they don't have a really fast opening with 4/5 rush and double 3/3s by turn 3 or 4.
Freeze Shaman can be obnoxious if they just freeze the board 4 turns in a row, plus 4 single target freeze as well. OTK shaman was favorable unless you only draw removal spells and no pressure.
C'Thun druid is just an auto loss, they gain way too much armor, mana, and draw too many cards. Just concede and save yourself 10-12 minutes and get a win against a Libram Pally.
Paladin is very favorable, I'm currently 37-2 against them. They on'y have 1 or 2 swing turns so if you use your cheap removal early to gain the board its very hard for them to com back. You can efficiently remove their big/buffed minions with Arcane Overflow and Grey Sage Parrot to also gain a board advantage.
Quest Warrior is very good as well. Winrate dropped a little due to some bad draws, but still around 70%. Majority of the losses were from either Gorehowl or Mr. Smite from The Juggernaut. you have enough efficient removal to not get blown out in the early game, and a couple taunts/heals to give you an extra turn or 2 to stabilize if they start quickly.
Big Spell/Mirror was a good matchup. This version can efficiently gain the board and they don't have good ways to take it back without a 3 damage Reckless Apprentice and generally don't run Taelan Fordring to tutor their Mordresh Fire Eye so you can usually get it down first and close out the game faster than them.
Hard for me to believe you can get more value out of the drake or the scorpid than with two parrots to repeat mask of Cthun..
removed drake with 1 parrot. 2 felt really slow, but 1 was good. drake was strong against some of the slower decks, but those are free wins anyways.
scorpid is really good. it forces the opponent into unfavorable trades and lets you discover a usually good card. first flame, brain freeze, devolving missiles, siphon mana, icicle, AI, rigged fair game, cone of cold, ring toss, potion of illusion, fireball, firesale, arcane overflow, mask of c'thun, mass polymorph and rune of the arcmage are all good to great options. same reason pretty much every mage and rogue deck run Wand Thief.
Good in theory, quite bad in reality... not recommended.
Responding with my other account.
took it to legend last season with a 39-13 record.
crushes libram paladin which was super popular at the time. currently rank D2 right now with it again. Struggling a little with all the rogues who seem to have 4/5 rush on turn 2 every game. If you face a lot of pirate warrior and paladin in your bracket this deck will climb quickly.
0-4 so far.... yippy!...
lol first try with this was pretty funny. Game me 1 hp, 1 armor. Quest warrior 4 hp 4 armor. He represents lethal, it's my turn. dawn grasp plays discover a mage minion prior turn, that minion? Mordresh Fire Eye lol
quest war has no chance :P
They do not. :)
(I'm on my other account and cant figure out how to log out on mobile), but I went 14-3 against quest warrior.
I found the only really bad matchup to be cthun druid. My best win lately was against libram pally where I milled 1 wildfire and the other one was my last card with dawngrasp as my 2nd-to-last one. He died to fatigue because I had enough removal to deal with all of his threats even if I could never gain board control or use Mordesh.
