This deck has certainly received some sizable buffs with cards such as Belinda Stonehearth, Mass Polymorph, Magister Dawngrasp, Rune of the Archmage and Iceblood Tower. It's becoming difficult to decide which Big Spell synergy cards to include, so feel free to switch a few cards around to make this work for you.
Potential inclusions: Inkmaster Solia, Dragon's Fury, Book of Specters (anti-synergy w/ Dawngrasp and Puzzle Box / Mask of C'thun), Potion of Illusion, King Phaoris, Power of Creation
Zephyrs and overrated its an answer to like a million different situations and because of that u have like 3 more spots in ur deck cause u don’t need that much tech cards. Well i understand where u coming from but in my opinion Vanndar in mage Wild is just bad because Luna's Pocket Galaxy is just a million times of a better fit for mage than vanndar. No reason to play him i mean Luna‘s even synergieses with the big spell theme.
Have a look at m list mate and feel free to criticise mine ;)

i doubt that big spell mage with vanndar is ever a good idea, even less with Reno since you lose the best highlander card in zephyrs (which is the only reason to play highlander). And running that many cheap spells is just a bad idea too: lowrolls from balinda ( 6 mana 1/1 draw devolving missiles and first flame, they cost 5?). I think the way to go is early game minions and only ice block as a cheap spell since you can tutor it with scientist /raider/arcanologist. I also doubt that deep freeze and to a lesser extent mass poly are worth running: the first one is just bad, the second one I don’t know. It’s bad against aggro since the sheep can still go face/can be buffed, and it won’t win you the game against something like big priest either I think. Only good usage is morphing big warlock demons, but they aren’t as common anymore. Meta dependent card, but often even a flamestrike (not great either) will be better. I also don’t believe in the 4 mana spell that adds the spells to your hand. It’s 4 mana do nothing with anti synergy with your big spell synergies and those you cannot even start casting before turn 7
My general deck-building philosophy is to try and create the best version of a specific deck. There are absolutely stronger implementations of a Big Spell Mage or Reno Mage for the upcoming expansion, but my interest as of the moment is Vanndar and the potential highrolls that his discount can provide. Most of your suggestions involve me playing an entirely different deck than what I'm interested in. Zephrys is somewhat overrated with Wild's current power level and his limited card pool, but if you're not playing Vanndar then of course you would then use Zephrys.
