Voyage to the Sunken City Cards List & Guide
Total Deck Rating
Interesting, would you share some win rates when the expansion drops?
Sure thing, this deck will be the first I try on day 1 of the expansion.
At day 1 I didnt track my stats because I have encountered some bugs and I made some changes. Ethereal Peddler was indeed slow so I have replaced him with Secret Passage.
There is a bug with Maestra, so you start the game as rogue. Im not sure about the solution, but there is something that worked for me. When you start HS, before you start playing, change the skin. After that I had no issues with Maestra.
Peddler was slow as expected, and passage is pretty good, but there is also a cute interaction. If you play Secret passage as your first card then Wildpaw Gnoll will become a 0-cost card. Usually its not worth to risk it, but if you have 2 gnolls and a passage in your starting hand you might consider it.
On day 2 I had a 9-5 record. The deck was surprisingly good against hunter, it struggled against pirate warrior and it was pretty good against everything else. IMO its a solid tier 2 deck that requires some planning and it has an RNG factor so its not an autopilot deck like some tier 1 decks. If you like this style, I recommend it.
Wouldn't Wildpaw Gnoll always be 0 mana because of Maestra of the Masquerade
Like what happened in dane's video in 2:15 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kc0lfBBul6Q&ab_channel=Danehearth
Mulligan doesnt count. Dane drew 3 cards naturally as warlock until turn 3, 1 with life tap and 1 with Sketchy Information, so its 5 reduction on the Gnoll.
Since I usually have a turn 1 play, Maestra is just a 1 mana discount on the Gnoll, but it also has some mind games like making my opponent do bad mulligans. Once my opponent insta-conceded because he thought that I was a hunter. :)
