**12.10.2021 Edit**

Replaced Bloodmage with Shard of the Naaru.

**Edited 12.08.2021**

After testing out the deck a bit after launch, I made some minion changes; removing Cornelius Roame, the Spirit Guides and one Bloodweaver in favor of 2 Multicasters, Bloodmage and Xyrella. The Spirit Guides and Cornelius Roame were too expensive and could lead to overdraw. The Multicasters are objectively better; just have to make sure to cast both a Holy and a Shadow spell before using.

Two Bloodweavers seemed a bit too much, as I found myself with a 0-cost hand and no draw on several occasions. I'm on the bubble with using any Bloodweavers, but on balance I think that 1 can provide significant value without typically causing problems drawing through the deck.

Bloodmage can polute the deadpool a bit, but not nearly as much as Spirit Guides and does so with additional draw and has synergy with the 1 copy of Rally! in the deck, is efficient with Insight and seems to help more than hurt. The only damage spells in the deck are the 2 copies of Smite but more can be discovered. However, the real reason to include is the draw, so if you think +1 attack beats +1 spell damage; go with Loot Hoarder.

Xyrella should have been in the deck from the start, but I didn't have her in my collection and haven't run a deck that could use her before. Bit the bullet and bought her (4 months before she depreciates) and she works in the deck as you would expect, expecially with Gift of the Naaru.

The fastest I have been able to bring out the sword is turn 6, but turn 8-9 is more typical, even if you have to draw through half your deck to find a boar. From the limited sample size I have, it does look like this deck is somewhat faster than the Owl Warlock OTK deck, and once the sword comes out, even if it slams into a minion, its over; no mana no play.

You definately want to mulligan for a boar, as getting one in the deadpool is critical to success. Currently, I am mulling for Insight, Multicasters, Palm Reading and Elywn Boars. I don't have sufficient data to know if this is right, just what seems right so far.

Against aggro decks, you can play tempo and exhaust your opponent as an alternate win condition. Against slower decks you bring out the sword. Almost every time I do, my opponent tries to keep playing for at least a turn before giving up... it's my favorite part of the game. Win rate is pretty good so far. Hopefully it stays that way.

Original Description:

This is the first deck I'll be trying once Alterac Valley comes online.

The idea is essentially to draw through and discount your deck while summoning and killing boars. Kill 7, smash your opponent in the face and win.

Mulligan for boars, discount cards and Insight. Keeping the Amulet to trade early also seems fine. Getting out at least 1 boar early is essential to put in the deadpool. Spirit Guide is probably OK to put in the pool but could clog it up with too many as can Bloodwaevers with Raise Read. The 1 copy of Rally is in the deck because it can only revive the boar and a Bloodweaver in case the deadpool becomes unreliable.
