I was getting bored of all the same agro decks all the time, so I thought id try to make a more slower controlish druid with the quest that ive literally never seen played even once. After a few failures i dropped a bit of the control and quest helper cards for getting out a ton of taunts with oracle till i can pull off setting up a graybough wall that most of the current meta decks just cant do anything about.
I didnt expect it to be nearly as strong as it was. I played from bronze to diamond 2 in just a few hours and it was the easiest climb ive ever had.
EDIT - Took out taunt kodos for another Brawler and Meeting stone. Meeting stone can provide so much extra fuel and value if you get it out early and behind a taunt
The strategy for it is to mulligan for one drops or hopefully Razor main and a taunt to get a very strong start.
Unless i had no 1 cost or 2 cost minions to play on coin first turn there is no need to play quest right away. The tempo is way more useful since you wont usually be hero powering on 2.
If you drop a peasant turn one and they dont kill it you basically win if you can protect it with a taunt for a while. Draw is the most important part of the deck so composting is amazing with oracle and tokens to refill instantly. The faster you can get your key cards for a greybough wall the better. On turn 6 if you can oracle, razormane, then get 2 greybough for 1 mana your chance of winning skyrockets. Even more so if you can spikeshell one, and do t again if its removed with a board wipe.
Quest is really easy to pull off if with pounce and moontouch amulet giving you tons of armor and attack to control the board. Same as Greybough, getting 2 of them for 1 mana with oracle razor is amazing, and you have the option to sparkshell guff for even more should you need it.
This deck doesnt need to always play the long control game either. Sometimes it plays like an agro deck. Get a nice board with oracle early and Arbor up obviously is always powerful. Wicklerclaw steals games as well. have one or 2 able to attack on board can be insane burst.
I might have just been really lucky in my climb, but it felt really strong unless your mulligan is all spells or something.
Anyway, If anyone has any changes they think would be better, please let me know. Im sure this isnt optimal.
Deck is terrible...
This deck underperforms TOO MUCH, litterally no win condition. Think about it, no real way of completing the quest without drawing a bijillion cards. But to do that u need to be in 7+th round with elune and composting with many little minions. Until then u die at least 10 times.
Thx 4 deck maaan!

Great deck thanks a lot! Just made a change, i put two feral rage and removed the peasants, to complete the quest easier. I know that draw is important but for me compost and varian seemed enough to draw what you need :)
I thought about feral rage as well. But When i do lose its usual because i just dont get draw and end up running out of gas. Honestly the quest is mostly just for some extra armor, so i dont prioritize it, but if it works well for your style thats great. ^^ Even with just the pounces and Moontouches I seem to finish quest pretty regularly.
I did make a few changes since i posted the deck. That i think have made it much better.
I took out the 2 Kodos and added another Bone chewer Brawler and a Meeting stone. The kodos are great for survival, but seemed to slow and not realy necessary with the quest already giving armor. Replacing for some more early game that are far more useful seemed to really help against the harder match ups like Mage.
I tossed in the meeting stone just to try it out since ive literally never used the card before, and i was shocked how much it helps the deck. Since it always gives 2 drops you always have something to use with oracle. And getting 2 of them when played with oracle is great to give your hand some more options. It can really fill in those turns where you start running out of gas and end up with spare mana and low hand size. Id actually like to add in a second copy but im not sure what to swap for it.
To be honest i added the feral rages mostly for quest mages, since i dont want to play minions to that shit deck :D. It performs a lot better against them. I will try to add your suggestions somehow and i will let you know :)
