Update: I made couple changes to the list on day 4 postpatch. Updated list you find here: https://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/1396430-tempo-buff-warrior-top-500-update

Hey there,

it's day two postpatch and mages are 20% of the field at most rank brackets. You can counter that with Hunter or Weapon Rogue, but I go for a different approach.

This Tempo Warrior not only runs Robes of Protection, but also 4 Posts and Ogremancer. This completely flips around some bad matchups and lets you win against them.

You need to be aware though, that the list is slightly worse against aggro decks running that tech inclusion. You don't want to queue into control decks or Questrogue with this list.

If you don't like the copy of Mor'shan Elite you can replace it with Moonfang, but so far I didn't see a reason to make that change, currently deck is performing as is.

Mulligan:

Against Mages you hard mulligan for Robes of Protection and Crossroads Watch Post.

Against Rogues and Demon Hunters you are looking for Far Watch Post, you would even coin it out if possible.

Against aggressive decks like Facehunter, Taunt Druid you want a good early curve and removal. Imprisoned Gan'arg, Warmaul Challenger, Guardian Augmerchant and sometimes Stage Dive (there is 3 rush minions only in the deck, so chances pulling a Blademaster Samuro are high) are the cards you are looking for.

Midgame:

After the mulligan you want to play for Tempo and put your minions in play. Sometimes it can even be good to tempo out a Blademaster Samuro or play Conditioning on turn 2 already, if that allows for powerful turns afterwards. You don't have much card draw, so you are all-in rather quick. Therefore you want to hit Face whenever possible. Especially in the early game you should be looking for good valuetrades though. That way you protect your board and can deal more damage the turns after.

Cheers and Enjoy!
