Still experimenting, but performing well in high diamond atm...Love dropping Varian on curve for a 7/7 taunt/divine shield and rush most times. Totally saps the opponent's will to continue.
Would love some feedback...a few changes since first post.
General Tips
ALWAYS save 1 thrive for right after you play Xyrella and add shard to deck. By then you should have a minimal amount of unique spells left in the deck and can land the shard.
Devouring plague can be cast without minions on board, don't be afraid to tempo it vs Mage or Warlock and an empty board.
Play Mutanus even if you're not on the 7 cost step if opponent has completed quest but hasn't played minion. It's usually an instant concede if you eat it. Otherwise try and illucia on Turn 8 if they have quest reward in hand to play it for yourself.
Doesn't work. Don't use this deck.
this deck is usuless like nokia 3310 phone cases
This isn't working for me at all, dropped me to Gold 4. Nobody is making the mistake of not playing their quest reward the turn they get it, either. Mage, warlock, and paladin seem to be auto-losses.
On paper this deck looks solid. Like, how do you die with this much armor, healing and taunts?
Oh yeah, 2-mana pyroblasts over and over... >_>
I don't have the priest quest yet, but if I unpack it, I want to try a list like this. Looks interesting.
Thanks for sharing :)
This has been super fun to play. I am in the 4 - Gold tier and having a blast. Thanks for posting. **edit** I have also snagged a few mage, warlock, and druid quest reward minions with [card]Mutanus the Devourer[/card]. I can feel the depression from the other player when that happens.
