This deck needs to squeeze in Fire Sale.

heya,

any advice for climbing from silver to lgd with this deck? any changes ?

This deck was great until I hit a brick wall at gold 5. I've lost 8 in a row at this point. It was fun while it lasted I guess.

I would probably take Netherwind portal instead of Counterspell, when you play a secret your reveal it type to your enemy via quest progress (arcane for counterspell, ice block for frost etc) so when they see that you have arcane quest they will most likely play around countespell (mirror is to risky and often times decks run very few impactful minions), when playing portal you will get some value of 4 drop, maybe even as a target for  your own spells to complete the quest.

Cancerous skilless deck

Since a lot of people are playing this deck right now ... it is a bit difficult if the secret is not triggered and you keep failing that the frost spell is missing.

My suggestion here would be:

Change
1x Ice Barrier -> Oasis Ally
1x Apexis Blast -> Cone of Cold

Because you don't want to have servants outside when you are opposed to a Mirrior deck.
If you have a warrior / Shami, you can use the ICE Ele to prevent the weapons from getting in your face.

Has anyone tested Shattering Blast ?  I know it's 3 mana but I'm pretty sure it can be cast without legal targets in a pinch.  Could also work well with flurry against classes running Robe of Protection?

I swapped out both copies of Combustion, one for Flame Sale and the other for Cone of Cold. Flame Sale is handy for when the opponent's minion are untargrtable or as a board clear late game if you don't quite have lethal. 

Others have suggested removing Apexis Blast. I've found this card to be really useful, especially in matchups where the opponent doesn't play minions. Playing a Brain Freeze off the summoned minion is often how I'm able to get that last frost spell in to finish the quest line.

Went 12-0 with this deck. 

Is it time for some counter spells and a few minions? Deck not working. There are a number of decks that can beat this....Druid, Warlock I feel is 50/50cmaybe we are slightly favored, Pally, Hunter, Stealth Rogue. Burst is insane for this deck but we have to draw all our pieces and compared to other quests and the lack of frost spells it's not as strong as it seems 

A streamer had good results running Gadgetzan Auctioneer. Cutting Apexis Blast, I believe.

remove apexis you dont need them, another flurry and the legendary spell will to give you a handfull (name escapes me) is what is working for me in testing

People are starting to tech in Robes of Protection. I'm removing Apexis Blast and replacing with Mask of C'Thun. I want to fit in a copy of Fire Sale as well. Perhaps at the expense of a Cram Session or Primordial Studies. Need a few ways to damage minions without targeting them. Debated Flamestrike but it is too expensive unless discounted. Well, I guess this is true of Mask too, but I'm sticking with Mask because it can still hit face as well.

I ultimately cut a copy of Combustion to fit in a copy of Fire Sale. Fire Sale might end up just being strictly better. It's good for paladin matches as well (edit: and paladin is now the dominant class yet again).

Ever since the release of the quest I tried to make it work. But this...This is great. So far I'm 5-0 and it looks great. I really struggled vs Pirate Warrior but last 2 games I steam rolled them by turn 9.
