Step 1. Draw your deck.
Step 2. Play Sorcerer's Apprentice x2 and Sanctum Chandler (Elemental Evocation can help).
Step 3. Play Ignite.
Step 4. ???
Step 5. Profit!
I made a similar deck with the same combo just now over on outof.cards. I put in more of the stuff to help draw the combo. I am glad I'm not the only one who thought of this. As soon as I saw the cards, it just fit. https://outof.cards/hearthstone/decks/28238-uis-otk-mage-deck
I wonder which one of our decks would be more consistent. I put in six of the tradeable cards along with Auctioneer Jaxon to try to tutor for the cards you need at the time or get the combo pieces much sooner. Plus, the tradeables are good cards to have as tech.
Thanks for your comment!
My problem with Jaxon is that she doesnt help me with drawing my deck faster. Discovers could be helpful but I prefer raw draw power.
Which may very well be a possibility to remove her but still keeping the tradeable cards. The tradeable cards are effectively Choose One Druid cards with the other option being 1 Mana: Shuffle this into your deck then draw a card. That kind of flexibility is fantastic especially attached to tech cards like Rustrot Viperand Royal Librarian. The problem for a deck like this will be surviving long enough to win and aggro decks will always be around. Also, I like Fire Sale against Aggro (especially murlocs, token Druid, and pirates) as well.
The discovers are from your deck so it is drawing a card with Auctioneer Jaxon. It's Thrive in the Shadows for when you trade cards, not Shadow Visions.
Yeah I know. You shuffle a card then draw a card. So you are not getting closer to draw your deck.
I dont think any of our builds will be an aggro-slayer, but with enough card draw you can race slower decks.
Anyways its just a theorycraft. We will see how these decks will perform, I cant wait for the new expansion! :)
Yeah, I am looking forward to it. I hate playing meta decks and deckbuilding and testing is my favorite so I always enjoy release time.
