What? Aggro pirates? Nahhhhh
Quest stage 1 tutors Bulwark of Azzinoth, quest stage 2 can help clear the board, and quest stage 3 gives us a win-condition, solid infinite value.
Circus Amalgam Progresses quest, can be tutored by Ringmaster Whatley (who can also tutor up Ysera the Dreamer and Mutanus the Devourer.
We run a total of 11 pirates, including Amalgams, so completing quest shouldn't be too bad.
EDIT: Few small changes, added Entrapped Sorceress for example, will continue to fine-tune after release.
Looks fun. I'm not a warrior player so I miss many cards (I do have a lot of dust to spend though). Out of the legendaries, which one would you replace?
Saurfang + Kresh for some other source of armor gain?
Wanted to try this deck, I'm gonna wait a bit and mess around with my Rogue build, but if you find success with it, I'd love to try it!
Tried to change 2 cards -Saurfang, -Brawl, +Moagr forgefiend, +N'Zoth. Moagr with provoke is strong and N'Zoth, since you ve got pirate, dragon, murloc and Beast is kinda nice.
Royal Librarian is mostly useless, rustrot viper is the thing, doomhammer still lurking in these shaman decks.
You are correct, realized that after a few games, but I'm still testing things and don't want to make 10+ micro updates, and will update when I find a list that reliably only loses to quest priest lol
Keep in mind though, making card choices based on week 1 meta is not going to give you a reliable deck. You're still right about that particular swap though. Warrior weapons pretty common too.
Looking forward to play this on day 1 as I have all the cards :)
If I get the quest I will definately try this deck, have you thought about n'zoth?
I have, I genuinely think the quest reward will be enough to win games on its own, and if it's not then I think the better course of action is to just cut the quest entirely and go full N'Zoth. I think mixing them spreads yourself too thin.
Cool list! I'll try it if I'm given the quest. The two tech cards you have, the Viper and Librarian, are you anticipating anything particular that they will counter in the early meta, or just valuing them higher for the tradeable?
In all honestly I just love tech cards and tradeable is the single best thing to ever happen to them. I could see handbuff paladin getting played alot, deathrattle cards seem to have some decent support, so silence seems good, and as for weapons I think we'll see a fair amount but I don't think they'll be worth having a dedicated deck slot for. On the other hand, we're a control deck and spend a fair amount of turns not spending all of our mana, so if you don't need them trade them for something else!
tl;dr, if you don't like them I'd keep the silence and cut the weapon removal, but now that they have tradeable I think it's worth playing unless there is a specific card you want to replace it with.
