I actually think there are ways to do this that may not be a total meme and do not require an 8-card combo.

I don't like people who say things without any support to it. And I'm not defensive to it, I said it's garbage. I'm pointing out I don't agree with you and ask for support to your words. You said it could be done better, so... How it could be done better? I'm actually curious about it.

Well, yes. I guess the only problem is that it's a 9 mana combo that  you finish over 2 turns. Seems a bit slow for this meta, though things may change when all the cards are out.

Maybe we can do this earlier if you throw in some octo-bots? Depending on how many cards get discounted, I think you can whip this one out sooner.

- 1 Dirty Tricks
- 1 Backstab
+ 2 Efficient octo-bot

I Really don’t think that’s viable. For octobot to work you would require to have some combo pieces in hand. That would imply having to keep sometimes Potion or Scabbs. Otherwise you would throw octo either for tempo on turn 2 (which is fine) or you would throw it later on turn 6 to 8 on average. And in that case you missed the whole point.

My approach was to survive, draw and then do the combo. This deck and archetype will NEVER be meta. Not even tier 3 lol. Not so much to do about that lol.

I would still keep it close at heart.... Not even one card revealed for rogue... Perhaps something comes out that makes this a lot more viable 

I really don't think so. I actually would love it, but by itself it has big limitations to be a good archetype, which are the following:

1. If the opponents has a good board, you may don't have a second turn (or third if it's warrior and it has armor) to finish it off.
2. Any big taunt kills your entire strategy (or many taunts).
3. And finally, it requires a lot of setup. Even if they give us more sugar for it, it'll probably be AT LEAST a 4 card combo.

It's a meme and it'll be a meme for ever I think. We may be able to do some optimizations, who knows, maybe Octobots can work after all, we have to try it, this is Theorycraft. But in the end, you can't polish a turd.
