Started out as me wanted to make the new mini set cards work, turned into me also trying to make corrupt priest good. Ended up with 63% winrate, nothing spectacular but I was expecting sub-50% so it turned out way better than I thought.
The New Cards:
Meeting Stone turns out to be great at doing at developing early game tempo, even if it only generates one minion it curves into itself and gives us the few early game turns we need to start corrupting things.
Devout Dungeoneer; so, turns out a lot of priest's buff spells are holy, and seeing as we're a tempo deck drawing and discounting those spells is pretty good. Sometimes you hit Insight which feels pretty bad, but that card is good enough on its own to warrant the inconsistency, I think.
Some Other Synergies:
Since we want to run holy buff spells, I opted for the Power Word: Fortitude + Primordial Protector combo, which is a pretty strong tempo play in the late game, and if we draw fortitude with dungeoneer first, it'll be much easier to play early anyway, so it usually doesn't feel too hard to play.
Dark Inquisitor Xanesh + Horrendous Growth might seem like a slow combo, but you'll likely have 2 or 3 2/2s from the meeting stones by the time you have some 0 cost growths, which makes it pretty easy to dump a few 2/2s followed a 6/6 or better.
Finally, Meeting Stone fills our hand with a bunch of cheap minions, and I was looking for 1 last 5 cost card to play on curve proactively to corrupt the Circus Medics, so Overlord Runthak seemed like an obvious fit.
I'm still refining the deck, but it honestly feels way better than I thought it would (since I thought it would suck really bad and instead I went 14:8 with it) so I thought I'd share it.
Fun deck. 100% needs soul mirror especially with primordial.
Swap a dungeoneer for that
Also swap circus medics for renew

u need some removel like hysteria.
maybe take out over lord and one devout you dont want it to pull your 8 mana spell?
Playing the deck some more and the early game still feels pretty weak, but we've got some pretty powerful swing turns and refills for the mid-late game, so basically as long as we survive we essentially can't lose to anything besides combo. If anyone has any suggestions on changes to help out the early game lemme know
