As an exclusive Mage player, I'm offering this deck as an option for other mages that dislike the overflow of the current spell-only mage in the meta.

I had great success playing this in high ranks (diamond to legend).

In its essence, this deck strives to be aggro and likes to go face. The best approach, should the mulligan allow it, is to play one of the secrets (or better yet, the Inconspicuous Rider) on turn 3 and then Occult Conjurer on turn 4. This usually gives a very nice curve that most other rivals struggle with.

Use your spell damage improving minions to enhance your (1) cost-utility spells or card draw (using Cram Session). This combination is very useful for removing threats and minions from the board.

In mulligan prefer keeping Brain Freeze and Shooting Star when facing aggro decks like Hunter and Demon Hunter. When facing control decks like Priests and Warlocks, prefer secrets and the Occult Conjurer. For Paladin and Priest, it's best to keep Devolving Missiles to defuse buffed minions or to prevent their resurrection.

Fireballs (improved by Spell Damage) should always be preferred to go face unless you really have to remove some big minion.

Use your Water Elementals to freeze heroes with weapons, and generally prefer having them go face since they are hard to remove and the rival would expend resources (trades or spells) trying to do so, so it's better to prolong their presence on the board as much as possible.

That's it - please enojy and let me know your thoughts.
