Intro
"Good advertisement tells the customer a problem and then gives it a solution."
Do you know the feeling when you drop your Kazakus, Golem Shaper on turn 4 and make a huge tempo turn with golems on the next? Or do you know the feeling when you drop Lothraxion the Redeemed on turn 5 against control warrior and they concede immediately? Then you also have to be familiar of the feeling when those exact same cards are bottom of your deck and it may have just costed you the game...
But not anymore! Presenting you the deck that has over ~62,7% chance of drawind any of those cards to your hand by the turn 4 AND on perfect curve!
By running only 4 minions on the deck and having 2 of those to be Northwatch Commander together with defensive secret package you can easily make your odds of drawing your main minions higher. Having only 4 minions might sound first too high cost to pay, but let me say, Paladin has more than few ways of generating minions out of spells, weapons and even with their hero power.
Im going prove you why including this deck to your Grandmaster tournament decklist would have been an exelent addition!

Cards explained
conviction: Mostly used to push damage to the face. In midgame, try to make sure that the atk boost target either has divine shield or more health than 1. Recommended to be used after turn 5.
First Day of School: I like the "buffed" version more, because it pushes the deck more midranged direction adding almost a boardfull mix of minions + the change to give extra value with cards for example Wand Thief. Auto keeper in starting hand.
Galloping Savior: Card that can enable 3,4 stat minion as soon as even turn 2 when going against aggro. Good defensive tool to start battle with.
Oh My Yogg!: Good tool to prevent your opponents huge tempo turns. Would not like to have it on starting hand though.
Reckoning: One of the most underestimated cards I know! It's 1 mana DESTROY a minion of the cost of they attacking to your face or a small pawn. Good pick going agenst aggro in opening hand.
Hand of A'dal: Just nice little board push + card draw. Good with divine shield minons. Nothing to lose when running this card. Would not take in opening hand though.
Pursuit of Justice: What about summoning 5 of 2,1 stat minions on turn 5 with the card Stand Against Darkness OR in late game having a full board of 3,1 stat minion with divine shield (because of Lothraxion the Redeemed). Something to think about! Would concider good card against control decks in opening hand.
Snack Run: Against aggro you can purely pick the highest cost card for healing if needed to OR just pick whatever the situation requires for you to make the final push to end your opponent. Would not have it in opening hand, even against aggro.
Sword of the Fallen: The nerfed version fits perfectly to this deck. We are having 2 weapons to play our 6 secrets from the deck and making it easier to have higher value draws in future. Your can also easily predict which cards are pulled out of the pool because it's small size. Good opening hand pick.
Day at the Faire: Deck has multiple good higher cost cards to have this being corrupted before you want to play it. It's more a midgame option and prefered to use after Lothraxion the Redeemed BUT can also be played as a decent 3 drop on turn 3 if needed. Not for opening hand.
Northwatch Commander: Play secret on turn 1 or 2 and follow on curve to play this on turn 3. The dream is to draw Kazakus, Golem Shaper because of its high tempo value that fits in every game situation. You might get another Northwatch Commander, but then you can just re-roll and 3,4 stats in this meta is not any bad at all.
Underlight Angling Rod: Because the deck lacks card draw it can be ignored by just "drawing cards" outside your deck. Any murloc together with hero power and you just start to have board presence. Would not have in opening hand though.
Kazakus, Golem Shaper: You know the drill but anyways almost every chase you want a 5 cost golem to make a huge tempo turn AND high chance of having it on turn 5. I personally favorite the divine shield + summon a copy of this. Against priest and warlock, maybe take the stealth instead because of Hysteria. ALWAYS keep in opening hand!
Blessing of Authority: I think that instead of a spell you should imagine it being a 5 cost +8,8 minion with rush to either make a value trade and/or just threaten your opponent with high dmg for the next turn. Put it on a divine shield minion and watch them cry! Not for opening hand though.
Lothraxion the Redeemed: Turns the towards more midrange or even a control matchup. Combined with Pursuit of Justice's the each turn hero power starts to get the infinite value going and your opponent to be afraid of constant threat of divine shield Silver Hand Recruit + Blessing of Authority or conviction. Take it in opening hand only against control.
Stand Against Darkness: Current meta lacks aoe removal, so even in it's basic "summon 5 of 1,1 stat minions" it is highly annoying to deal with. But with the updated version with Lothraxion the Redeemed + couple Pursuit of Justice... do I really have to continue?? Not for opening hand though.
Upgrades?
I think there could be either more aggressive version of the deck or more control oriented version. One proposal would be to switch Snack Run and one other card to add 2 copies of Hammer of the Naaru + N'Zoth, God of the Deep to gain a huge board presence at the endgame. Snack Run could also be switched to gain more aggression with card example Avenge.
At the moment this current version works for me and seems to fit to the meta. Maybe in future, these options can occur(?)

I sheck the forums once a day and answer questions if there are any. On the meanwhile im going to get on the legend with the deck, current rank at diamond 5. Started two days ago from silver 7 and current winrate is 73%. I give more data of the winrate based on what it is at the moment when I get legend and what it is from that point ahead.
Thank you !

I'm just now getting back into the game for the first time in probably 5 years. I was looking for a fairly cheap deck to throw together, Paladin, midrange as opposed to control and had a decent win rate. This deck checked all of those marks and I think I'm about 25-5 with it currently. Now as I said, I'm practically new again and started off at the bottom of the rankings, so I'm sure my first few opponents were not "elite" so to speak. However, I've climbed from last place Bronze all the way to Silver rank 3. Not trying to brag about my abilities here, only the quality of the deck.
Some struggles I have run across along the way so far have been the more blitz style decks every now and then they get a little too much for me to handle early on or maybe I get a less than optimal pull to deal with it in time, or both. Overall the deck seems great and has been very fun, playing on a curve is very enjoyable and the way this deck can transition into the late game almost makes it feel like a control deck. I don't know too much about the format at the moment so I can't make any recommendations other than keep up the good work.
I highly recommend this deck for the Paladin players getting back into the game now.
I'm desperate for a half decent deck to put my gold lothraxion in, fingers crossed.
Did you actually get legend w this deck? Curious if it worked at high diamond
Also how is this doing without any board clear (barov, libram of justice, etc.). Seems hard to keep up w something like token druid if they get a big turn
I did read your comment this morning about 6h from now and to make up my promise, I have now fulfilled it! I Started from bottom diamond 5 and it took me about 33 games to make it to legend. I made one change: swapped 2x Underlight Angling Rod's to 2x Hammer of the Naaru's. It's just overall more guranteed value and at the same time it work as a defensive play against aggro. Underlight Angling Rod did not do enough.
Reason I didn't do this run till the end before was because I made a new deck for warlock and it took all of my intrest after that.
Here's the legend score: http://prntscr.com/13ijqeo
Statistics: http://prntscr.com/13ikb2h (17 of the games shown were from try before, it was also from diamond 5, but only to rank 3)
Last game vs Marcu:

And about the Token Druid, I have played about 137 games inside the high diamond ranks this month and have faced only one of them. Surely I lost easily, but here in Europe servers there just aint that many players who have chosen that path to play.
I've really enjoyed this deck so far! At low ranks people don't know how to play around this deck yet lol. Thanks for the good times!
I removed the Snack Runs, 1 Rod and 1 stand against Darkness. Added Murgurgl, Taelon and 2 elemental weapons. Seems to be working :)
Would this deck or something like it be viable in wild?
In wild it's called odd paladin ;)
Add Taelan Fordring for sure
Just wrecked a control priest with this. His legend card back could not save him from the dudes. He did double corrupted clown. Two old gods (n'zoth and Y'Shaarj). Tons of corrupted shit. He even got a Barron Gedon out of the corrupt auspicious spirits. Blademaster to apoesthesis all the cheese. Cleared my board like 5 times at least.
I even ran out of cards. Still whipped his ass after 29 turns. He couldn't deal with spawning buffed divine shield recruits every turn. He conceded all salty no well played. this wrecks control esp if you get pursuit of justice early
PS - I play a lot of dude pally and played it a lot last expansion (DMF), hammer of naru is way more consistent vs aggro than snack run. I subbed one snack run for hammer. Thinking about removing the second snack run as well. Also better vs control usually (9 weapon damage and a big body). Also better vs face hunter/harder to trample with rhino and stops their little shits
so far getting stomped by everything, it seems just too slow
I have been trying myself to build a good silver hand paladin but your idea of having only 4 minions and using Northwatch Commander to pull the rest really made it competitive in the present meta. Sometimes Northwatch Commander pulls the other Northwatch Commander but its not a major problem. I am having fun with it. Solid one thanks!
No good. Too much reliable in Lothxarion...the dudes always are removed by many means specially mage.
Maybe that legendary that buy the highest mana minion from ur deck can solve this problem, but it's just one card.
Nice try.
Decent deck so far, played 11 games starting at Diamond 4, went 6-5. Most of my losses were due to unlucky mulligans/card draw and not being able to get anything on the board and just getting overwhelmed early on.
Fun to play and some cool combos. Thanks for the great deck guide, going to keep playing, will update on progress.
Perfekt Guide, im gonna try this.
+rep, for ur full guide i like postings with full explain. REally amazing
