Hello everyone. So i've been testing Demon Hunter control decks in Wild for a while. And it seems that with the latest expansion it's finally working! Quite easy climb from 5 to legend with 70% winrate. Have fun!

DH Winrate

GUIDE

The general goal of this deck is to summon Deathrattles while controlling board, then duplicate and play as many N'Zoth, the Corruptor as needed for the win. Death Speaker Blackthorn helps a lot, simultaneously thinning your deck to get closer to C'Thun, the Shattered and summoning a lot of minions to control board.  Zai, the Incredible can get you many duplicates when played with Brann Bronzebeard and Zola the Gorgon, so try to keep your left-most card useful while waiting for N'Zoth. C'Thun is there because of many draw cards, so you can complete it quite fast. Some pieces help with the board clear against aggro (Eye of C'Thun, Heart of C'Thun) and are useful on their own.  And it can also be duplicated, which can tip long control matchups in your favour. Amaze your opponents!

Below is the detailed guide against current meta decks climbing from Diamond 5 to Legend:

Demon Hunter

Most DH I've encountered were aggro ones, with or without Baku the Mooneater. Generally they are easy to defeat because you have a lot of early board control cards, and once you get to 5-6 mana they usually run out of steam. Mulligan for Immolation Aura, Sigil of Flame, Zephrys the Great. The only high manacost card that can be kept in your starting hand is Reno Jackson, since you'll be losing a lot of HP. Against occasional control DHs you have a lot of late game cards, which will help you to bring them down. Overall DHs are a welcome sight because of easy wins.

Druid

Climbing druids are usually token ones. They can take control of board very fast, so low cost AoE and control cards must be kept on mulligan. I've also played against several Celestial Alignment combo druids. These can be suprised with high value cards you have like Dragonqueen Alexstrasza or Nethrandamus. I always keep Dirty Rat on mulligan, because it's useful against tokens and breaks combo for control druids. Usually an easy matchup.

Hunter

Most Hunters are aggro ones, but all in all they are quite rare. Keep low cost cards on mulligan, control their board and watch for your HP. Reno Hunters can be outvalued with your deck easily. Also an easy matchup

Mage

Mages are very popular in current meta. They are either Secret or Spell ones. Keep Dirty Rat on mulligan as it helps against both. If you are playing against a Secret mage it's usually a close matchup as you are dependent on their draw. Using your Demon Claws helps to prevent them from drawing from Rigged Faire Game so you can rely on them running out of cards. Always try to control their board and keep your HP as high as possible. Spell mages are easier to play against. They use either Mozaki, Master Duelist or Flamewaker to finish you, so try to play Dirty Rat with Brann or Zola to kill their combo on turn 5 or 6.

Paladin

Hand buff paladins are becoming more and more popular these days. But since they take a lot of turns to setup you generally have a lot of taunts by the time they get to huge minions. Keep AoEs and Zephrys the Great on mulligan against their fodder and try to always have a taunt minion so they don't OTK you with buffed Argent Horserider or Chillblade Champion. Maw of C'Thun and Zephrys help a lot with removal against them. Sometimes you can encounter some kind of combo Paladin, but duplicated Dirty Rat can help to bring them down to their knees.

Priest

The most popular class I've encountered climbing were Priests. They are either Razakus or Big ones. Always mulligan for Bad Luck Albatross and Zephrys the Great. Against Razakus you can try to get their Raza the Chained with Dirty Rat early on or spoil it with many Albatrosses. Keep the pressure on them so they run out of HP and don't use their Spawn of Shadows and you'll get them down. Quite an easy matchup. Big Priests are a problem though. You can try to Hex their early minions with Zephrys, but it only works against Deathrattle. Just try to survive as long as possible and you'll outvalue them in the end. Always try to kill Archmage Vargoth or they will snowball very fast.

Rogue

I haven't seen a lot of Rogues in current meta and all I've met were aggro ones with Kingsbane. Control their early minions and always keep a taunt minion up and you should do just fine. Mulligan for low cost cards and AoE.

Shaman

Most current Shamans are murloc ones so mulligan for low-cost control cards, especially Dirty Rat since it also helps a lot against Shudderwock shamans. Try to always kill their murlocs fast, especially  Underbelly Angler, Murloc Warleader and Lushwater Scout so they don't suprise you with Everyfin is Awesome or Nofin Can Stop Us. Don't forget that they can clear your board with Firemancer Flurgl and Toxfin combo. Overall Shamans are easy to kill.

Warlock

There are two popular Warlock decks: discard and Reno. So mulligan for Dirty Rat and control cards. Discard locks will try to take control of the board, but you should have no problem keeping it clear. Always kill Darkglare as fast as possible and try to build your own board. Renolocks are a problem because of Tickatus, but even if they play it you can still outvalue them. Try to get as many good cards from them with Dirty Rat as possible.

Warrior

Warriors are easy since most of them are aggro pirate ones. Mulligan for low-cost AoE and you will have no problem defeating them. Always kill Ship's Cannon and Skybarge as quickly as possible so they don't drain your HP. Occasional control or Galakrond Warriors will fall to your late game value cards. Easy matchup.

So that's it for the guide. If you have any questions feel free to ask and I'll answer. Enjoy!
