My Elemental Shaman deck with a twist:

My favorite deck since I built it during Un'Goro because I accidentally crafted Kalimos, Primal Lord, built completely on my own and curated to a sense of perfection over the years, it is the deck I'm most proud of and I have it fully golden. A very consistent and value rich deck. Not a lot of random and some unorthodox cards which makes it in my opinion very fun to play, even if it really isn't the best deck out there.

Now with a Galakrond, the Tempest twist!

A quick rundown of all the cards:

Invocation of Frost: Glacial Shard, but with rush, pretty much. Freeze one enemy, and kill another with the Windswept Elemental to get the most value of course. And you can play it before Galakrond, the Tempest on the same turn if you need one more Invoke to upgrade him.

Lightning Bolt: Just solid low health Minion removal, or use it on face if you have lethal. Use Steward of Scrolls to buff it.

Acidic Swamp Ooze: Ooze or lose, just a one off tech card that I like to run to make me feel like my deck isn't completely bad. The card speaks for itself, hold on to it against Weapon wielding classes, and play it whenever against non Weapon wielding classes. Replaceable with Gluttonous Ooze or Rustrot Viper if you prefer. Maybe Kobold Stickyfinger or Harrison Jones if you're feeling particularly saucy. (That's a lot of 5 Mana Minions though.)

Elementary Reaction: Solid card draw / generation, only play it without its extra effect if you really need a card. Play it whenever you have Mana left for it, or if you need to draw for value.

Hot Spring Guardian: Very good anti Aggro. Heal your face, heal your Minion, or heal nothing and just play it for stats. Use it to keep the Elemental chain going and play a Tol'vir Stoneshaper after it for more anti Aggro.

Lightning Storm: Even better than it already was now that it is buffed. Use it to clear the board, and buff it with Steward of Scrolls. Mind the Overload.

Granite Forgeborn: Maybe the best card in the deck in terms of pure value, especially if you play it on turn 4 (Or turn three by playing Kindling Elemental). It reduces the cost of almost every card in the deck. It makes some questionable cards in the deck actually quite decent, like Rumbling Elemental and Servant of Kalimos. And after playing two of these, then every card is just really strong. So just play it as quickly as you can to get the most value.

Rumbling Elemental: Another odd choice. It doesn't directly synergize with Elementals, but pretty much. A very survivable card and a game winner if an Aggro deck can't or doesn't deal with it. It triggers off of every Minion in the deck except itself and Ragnaros the Firelord. And you'll see a lot of people mouse over it, cause they've never seen this card before. ;)

Tol'vir Stoneshaper: Sen'jin Shieldmasta with Divine Shield. A great card, too bad it's not an Elemental. Try to either play an Elemental with it, or play an Elemental after it which doesn't require you to have played an Elemental before it, like Steward of Scrolls.

Corrupt Elementalist: A very useful card because of the double Invoke effect, as it immediately upgrades Galakrond, the Tempest upon play. No synergy with the rest of the deck though. So just play it when you need to play it.

Hallazeal the Ascended: An odd, maybe even bad card to put in the deck. I just like him a lot. Try to play him with Spells to heal yourself, otherwise just play him on turn 5 as a threat maybe after a Tol'vir Stoneshaper to get the Elemental chain going again. Not the biggest deal if you don't get any heals from him. (He also has a bunch of weird interactions with cards that aren't conventional Spells. I believe he heals you for Kalimos, Primal Lord's Invocation of Air's damage, but not his Invocation of Fire's, I am unsure how he works with Kronx Dragonhoof's Devastations, but he does heal you for damage from cast when drawn Spells like Bomb and Corrupted Blood. So Bomb Warrior counter..?)

Lilypad Lurker: Hex on a stick. You do need to have played an Elemental before it to work. But the Minion itself counts as an Elemental too, so you can play more Elementals the turn after, unlike Hex. Other than that, just use it like you would Hex, remove big Minions. (Thanks for the buff Blizzard.)

Steward of Scrolls: Azure Drake but for Elementals. Play it to start up the Elemental chain again on turn five after a Tol'vir Stoneshaper. Play it to buff your Lightning Bolt or Lightning Storm, or play it to Discover a Spell you might need. Great value.

Fire Elemental: Great card to turn the tides, even better after the buff. Use it to kill a Minion and get board advantage, or use it to kill the opponent. Very simple, and very effective.

Kronx Dragonhoof: The best card to synergize with Galakrond, the Tempest. Use him to draw Galakrond, the Tempest if you really need to, but I recommend playing him after Galakrond, the Tempest, as his Devastations are super good. Comparable to Kalimos, Primal Lord's Invocations. Got no Minions? Reanimation. Got a lot of Minions? Domination. Opponent got too many Minions? Annihilation. No minions at all? Decimation.

Galakrond, the Tempest: The big man himself. Naturally you want him to get to his third stage, but if you would otherwise lose, play him early of course. But assuming you play Galakrond, the Tempest on his third stage, summoning 2 Raging Storms is very powerful, together with the Dragon Claw. And Galakrond's Fury is much better than Totemic Call.

Kalimos, Primal Lord: A very versatile card, that'll always be useful. Need a heal? Invocation of Water. Need lethal? Invocation of Fire. Need a board clear? Invocation of Air. Need a board? Invocation of Earth. Use the Invocation you need whenever you need it.

Ragnaros the Firelord: There is a reason this card got moved to the Hall of Fame. Very solid. Play it pretty much whenever, you can't go wrong with it.

How you want to play:

I'd say it's quite an intuitive deck to play with. The good Battlecries of the Elementals and the value generation push it toward the Midrange / Control side of decks. And the burst potential can be used as a nice finisher. Play Control style. Look for value trades, don't play too many cards if you don't have to, and only go face if there are no other (reasonable) targets. But when your opponent gets low, you might want to be more aggressive. And always look out for lethal. This version of the deck doesn't have the same burst potential, but if you have a Dragon Claw equipped and a Raging Storm left on the board, together with a Fire Elemental in hand. You can kill the opponent just the same.

Other than that, just try to get as much potential out of your cards. Get a lot of juggles off of your Rumbling Elemental, use Galakrond's Fury as much as you can, and try to keep the Elemental chain going as efficiently as possible.

Closing thoughts:

Like I said at the beginning. It's a very fun deck because it doesn't have a lot of random effects. And it has some cards you don't see very often. Which can make games a lot more interesting and fun. You'll rarely win because of a random card from a random card from a random card. And you'll often win because of cards your opponent wasn't expecting.

I'll update the deck when new cards come out I want to use. Feel free to play it of course, feel free to change it however you like, feel free to not even use it at all. I just hope I can inspire you to play, or craft, or generally enjoy Hearthstone. :)
