These are all the hunter Legends I've opened since coming back.
The raptors are cool, which is good! But drawing them sucks. That's bad. You can rip them with Tavish, which is good! But you need to play the 2-drop standard beasts to rip them from your deck, and they suck. That's bad.
So what's a lonely hunter in a dangerous world to do? You play only one of them, Dancing Cobra, out of pity, because no one knows how to kill a 5-health 2 drop. Then you play the good 3 drops.
And while we're getting crazy, let's play some more secret 2-drops too. What makes a 2-drop good? If you hide two of them inside of a 6-mana 6/5. That's right, we're bringing back Highmane. While we're at it, let's get real crazy. Teacher's Pet got absolutely insane after all the awful 3-drop beasts went away with the core set rotation. And Tame Beast, because that's secretly a 2/4/6 cost beast with Tavish and totally capable of ripping any of the other beasts out of your deck if he's on the field.
And, you know what? Let's add The Mankrik / Barak package because I love my wife. But let's run Deadly Shot too because we're badasses, and always drawing 3 cards with Barak is bad ass. We're running spells, so we've gotta pack in the Packrunner to get hyenas on the board. Punch in 2 of the only good secret, get more spells. Fill that deck up.
Wait, hold up. We forgot to add four drops.
Man, **** four drops. I opened a Kazakus. I'm playing a Kazakus.
Don't play this hunter. If you all play this hunter people will know what I'm running and then my winrate will go down.
I dont know about how this Deck works out in low Ranks, but on Diamond i have no Chance with it...
The reason would be that Tavish is Not The Best, so a deck that tries to play him is going to suffer. This is just the best way to try and implement his gameplan because your deathrattles make a persistent board of beasts.
I'm not here to win all the time, I'm here to play only hunter and try to find ways to make the cards work. You want high winrate with high game turnover rate you want to stick to face hunter.
