EDIT (5/4/21): -2 Scorpid. Great card, but +1 Barricade +1 Ogre or +2 Barricade is actually better. Better against aggro and Ogre helps us beat mages. Also barricades activate Yogg. Testing on stream tomorrow 11am - 3pm PST. Come hang and learn to play the deck!
EDIT (5/2/21): Yogg over 1 bunny is better IMO. Better on empty boards, can win unwinnable games, etc. Also -1 Minefield, -1 Taelan, +2 Scorpid. Scorpid can give you more bulk ups against Priest, more removal and an early body against aggro, and helps you cater your hand to your matchup a bit better. Also, without Taelan we avoid any Bulk Up concerns!
EDIT: I have been experimenting with Yogg instead of one Bunny and also a Stage Dive over Taelan to avoid Bulk up issues sometimes! Will update tomorrow after more experimentation!
This deck is absolutely savage. Completely original Poimlok creation! Some of you may remember me from last year when I broke the meta with Veilbatross Priest. I have a 60% WR with this deck on both ladder and in competitive over about 50 games (you can see this in my stream video from today, 4/28/21).
I won THL Pro Series Week 2 with this deck against Control Priest last week, and I plan to bring it again this week.
When played correctly and patiently, this deck is crazy strong and with the upcoming nerfs, its power will only GROW. I hit legend every single season with memes / off-meta nonsense and this will be the one I take there late this season and probably next month as well!
You destroy Ramp Druid, Rush Warrior, most aggro decks, and absolutely OBLITERATE Priest unless they discover an irrational amount of soul mirrors... and even then you probably win. Not many control decks can survive 8 rounds of Clowns and most aggro decks can't handle the amount of removal + armor gain + bulwark when played correctly.
You can sometimes beat Tick Lock, but if they hit key cards you probably lose. Aggro Paladin can also be tough to beat sometimes (they draw the nuts Crab + Hand), but certainly winnable if you have a good mulligan.
Mulligan against aggro: BOARD REMOVAL CARDS - minefield, bladestorm, brawl, rancor. Rancor EATS hunters and paladins alive and don't get me started on how it just erases token druids. You can keep the corsair cache if you're holding 2 removals already. sometimes you should keep armor vendor as a turn 1.
Against control: Corsair Cache lol (more guide coming soon)

Thank you for checking it out and if you're digging the deck please drop a follow, as it helps my channel so much!
Any updates on this deck? Been really enjoying it for some time now and would love to keep active with it
wow this deck actually slaps im so glad i gave it a go :) TY
This deck is not only strong but super fun to play. Nice work!
Sadly, the deck is garbo. As a player, who reaches the legend every month in wild, cant climb with this higher, then gold 5 in standart. I know the meta of standart and i know, it is pure cancer. My wr was something like 3-7, i won 2 out of 3 games against warlock and priest by pure luck and their dogshit missplays, other times all of the decks were superior. As much as i love control warrior, he cant really play in the current state of this cancer mage and paladin meta
Maybe legend in wild means nothing, and you're the bad one?
Thank you so much for this deck ! I missed a good control warrior deck. And this one has a lot of power in late game. Enough to destroy any deck (except tickatus, but this card is not fair)
4-0 yesterday, maybe I was lucky on card draw but I felt I always had an answer.
I replaced orgremancer and one cache by 2x 6mana 5/5 gain 5 armor. In late game cache is useless and orgremancer is useless once your opponent have a good board. Also I feel I miss armor sometimes to use shield slam. Maybe it's not wise but I miss shield block, then shield slam.
I now enjoy control warrior, we have everything, good board removal, good single removal, card draw, a lot of armor, weapons and a ton of clowns : a very nice control warrior
I've been getting absolutely destroyed by aggro pally, any general tips? It seems like if I don't get all my removal quickly I'm just screwed
Just wanted to say love this deck! Control warrior is back! Having a lot of fun playing it. Destroying most classes pretty consistently with it. Like you said in the post, warlock gives me some trouble with tickatus but other than that I'm pretty much in every game I play and doing very well. Thanks!
I normally dont comment on decks but i feel like i had to make an exception here.
This deck feels amazing in this meta. The mix of early game survival with bulvark, the armor gain and the late game with clowns is just insane if played correctly. Although my sample size is very small ( 9 games ), i gotta say that this deck works extremely well i most scenarios. Props for the deck.
I have a question about yogg tho. Normally in my games he felt very stale and was only usefull once. Do you normally just use him as a way to corrupt or do you actually get value from him.
Thanks for the deck code.!
I've been wondering the same about Yogg. He states in the post that it can win unwinnable games and also corrupt the clowns if needed which is true, but I also find it's very stale and not used much to warrant it I feel but I don't know. I may tinker with adding something else in place of it.
Having so much fun playing this deck!
Finally kinda control warrior in this meta.
But having HUGE problem vs mages and aggro pallies, can't climb D5 - Legend!
This deck is heaps of fun. I seem to be stalled out at the moment on Diamond 5, but it's probably because I just need more practice. I've had some annoying losses against Secret Pally where I didn't play around the secrets well.
I will try your latest edits, plus I've removed 1 x Cutting Class and replaced with a Minefield since I was getting too much draw - devastating to burn a Clown!
Crafted Bulwark just to play cuz it seemed fun, I actually managed to play Yogg 3 times but I have to say, the deck is absolute trash. It's no ones fault, don't get me wrong, it's just that it doesn't stand a chance against any of the current decks, maybe Priest, which is the king of garbage. You guys have to realize that if you want to rank up, you can't play off-meta decks, period. It's just how Blizz designed the game. Right now if you don't play any Pala deck (which ffs, has been Tier 1 for 3 fucking expansions already, maybe more) or that no-skill Mage deck where you just draw your entire deck by turn 5 and you start shooting spells in face or the even more lack-of-skill Hunter deck, you just can't rank up.
Personally, I hate aggro decks. I always tried to run fun decks to climb. As of now, I climbed to Plat 3 with Primordial Druid but from there, no way I can rank up with a deck that doesn't run Crabrider or Face spells. Simple as that. But thank you for this deck my dude. Even though Control Decks will never be Tier 1, you can have lots of fun playing it (in those games when you don't loose by Turn 5).
I'm sorry but if you are stuck at Plat 3 you are more than likely misplaying the deck. If you would like to learn to play the deck, please come watch some games. It is the best way to learn foreign decks. If you just crafted the deck, I can promise you that you have not played enough games to possibly know how to correctly pilot the deck. Hope you find something more fun for you!
I am extremely pissed at seeing mage and in general stupid cards that are FREE plays.Mage gets 2 cards that are 4 free cards drawn and Cram is usually 4 cards for 4 mana so again too good. That is the whole reason why Mage is doing well it has TOO much card draw,6 cards that draw typically around 12 cards or more ,that is absolutely retarded.
The same reason so many were using Rogue, they want to draw their whole deck with basically 4 cards.
You know the HS team is really bad when you mage has 3 sets of card draw and the one class that needed card draw for years "Shaman" gets NOTHING.Imagine if Mage had NO card draw and gave them some murlocs then gave Shaman those 3 sets of card draws,,BIG difference. That is how the game and classes become unbalanced.
The GAME is not the problem it is the TEAM operating this game.
Ladder is all Mage,i can't believe how often i face Mage it is getting very tiring. In 12 or so games i didn't face one paladin,i think was 8/9 mages ,2 hunters and a warl;ock and priest.
This deck doesn't work for climbing early season, maybe end of season.
All of the pro players or high rank players I meet on ladder just spam mage, paladin, and hunter, so jokes.
This is just downright untrue. I climbed to Diamond in one stream with ease. 56% against hunter, 60% against paladin, you probably lose to mage. You don't play against high ranks or pros if you aren't already a legend by Day 3, friend. I think you need more practice or to watch a stream to learn more about the deck if this is that challenging for you.
Those win rates are the exact reason why I said it is not great for climbing early in the season. You might be satisfied with that though, but I try to go for around 66.7% when I climb. Legend btw.
If you're trying to sweat over ladder and you're using this deck it's probably unwise and you should be using HSReplay.
