This is a deck that I made after watching one of Firebat's videos where he made basically this. When FitB first came out, I was very excited to try a hero power mage in standard, but it seems to fall short on win conditions and overall power, so after seeing some of the new cards get used in a wild deck I was inspired to give it a try, but I don't have all the cards and haven't properly tested it.
I can personally not recommend crafting any of these cards at the moment because I have no proof of success.
If you're interested, try it out at your own risk.
I think there is a lot of room for improvement here and if there is anyone that has all of these cards and would like to give it a run and let me know how it goes, I would appreciate the feedback. :)
EDIT 1: So after some crafting and some testing, this is my current and updated list. Though I still did not craft Archmage Arugal, I think he would be fun to potentially get extra copies of your high value minions. Perhaps in the future I will still sink the dust in to get him just for fun. Right now I have an extra Boneguard Lieutenant in his place.
One interesting interaction I did notice was that the keyword inspire actually triggers with the battlecry on Reckless Apprentice, and it will trigger multiple times. If you have a Tournament Medic on board when you land this, you'll get quite a bit of health back. (depending on how many enemies are present).
More testing required.
EDIT 2: So, made some more changes. Trying to be a little more tempo oriented. Added dragons and stuff. It felt good, so far. As some have mentioned in the comments, there are multiple avenues you can take with this deck. So far I'm liking dragons and being able to discover a couple spells for flexibility. Will continue to test with this. :)
