Deck Feels actualy not that bad i tried diffrent Neeru Lists. from zoo, control, full selfdestruct this one feels the best.
Matchups and Mulligans
Demon Hunter Mulligan : Tour Guide,Bloodmage Thalnos,Loot Hoarder, Mankrik, Kazakus, Golem Shaper,Raise Dead.
Demonhunter Matchup Gemaplan : They win with their huge burst turns via Illidari Inquisitor, Relentless Pursuit, Fury (Rank 1). You want to circle through your deck until your Barrens Scavenger and Blood Shard Bristleback are activ e while staying healthy ( 20+ life idealy). You also can win in the Midgame with Flesh Giant [/card] , [card]Void Drinker , Kazakus, Golem Shaper or at least make them use most of their burst from hand on them.
Paladin Mulligan : Mortal Coil,Tour Guide,Bloodmage Thalnos,Loot Hoarder,Drain Soul,Soul Shear,Mankrik.
Paladin Matchup Gameplan: Surrive early/clear their Board as good as possible . Win Midgame with : Flesh Giant, Mankrik, Void Drinker, Kazakus, Golem Shaper. Late Game is rough but winable.
Hunter Mulligan : Mortal Coil, Tour Guide, Bloodmage Thalnos, Loot Hoarder, Drain Soul, Soul Shear,Luckysoul Hoarder, Tamsin Roame.
Hunter Matchup Gameplan : Most Hunters i ancountered where Aggro. The deck has a lot of Face Damage what means Tamsin Roame is good Keep in your Mulligan so you have the possibility to get some good healing turns mid game when they want to close out the game with Drain Soul , Soul Shear ( Sould fragments also count as heal). Also Void Drinker is good answer to their Trampling Rhino i whouldnt succest keeping it in mulligan tho because you need the early removal. You should win when you surrive their ealy game/early mid game.
Mage Mulligan : Mankrik, Kazakus, Golem Shaper , Venomous Scorpid, Bloodmage Thalnos , Drain Soul,Tamsin Roame, Loot Hoarder,Raise Dead .
Mage Gameplan Matchup : They wanna burn your face you want to surrive and win Late Midgame/Lategame. You can win this matchup in two ways. Get Multiply copys of Mankrik(Olgra, Mankrik's Wife is good at tanking Mask of C'Thun) and Kazakus, Golem Shaper.(Giving your Greater Golem Liferoot in combination with Firebloom or Gromsblood is great in this Matchup) via Raise Dead. The more reliable way to win this matchup is Circle fast through your deck with Bloodmage Thalnos, Loot Hoarder, until your Barrens Scavenger and Blood Shard Bristleback are active.
Druid Mulligan : Flesh Giant , Kazakus, Golem Shaper , Venomous Scorpid , Tickatus.
Druid Gameplan Matchup : Against token just forfit. Its your worst matchup have not won this one yet. Against Celestial Aligment Druid you win when they ramp into Celestial Aligment and you have a big hand like i mentioned in the Mulligan. Druid has no good removal for big Minions. I whould say Matchup is still a little bit unfavourabled but not as much as token Druid.
Warlock Mulligan : Kazakus, Golem Shaper , Mankrik , Tour Guide , Flesh Giant , Raise Dead ,Neeru Fireblade,
Warlock Gameplan Matchup : You have to be the agressor all game long from early Midgame to the Lategame. This matchup is pretty easy from my experience. They use most of their removal on your Mid game, so you can overwhelm them in the late midgame/10 cards in your deck phase withyour Barrens Scavenger , Blood Shard Bristleback swing turns. (Just dont play all in their Twisting Nether).
Priest Mulligan : Kazakus, Golem Shaper , Mankrik , Tour Guide, Soul Shear , Raise Dead , Drain Soul.
Priest Gameplan Matchup : Same as Warlock "You have to be the agressor all game long from early Midgame to the Lategame. This matchup is pretty easy from my experience. They use most of their removal on your Mid game, so you can overwhelm them in the late midgame/10 cards in your deck phase with your Barrens Scavenger , Blood Shard Bristleback swing turns.". I like to keep some early removal in your Mulligan so you can answer their Sethekk Veilweaver. Matchup is highyl in your favour.
Warrior Mulligan : Loot Hoarder , Tour Guide [/card] , [card]Bloodmage Thalnos , Mankrik , Raise Dead , Kazakus, Golem Shaper , Luckysoul Hoarder , Drain Soul Soul Shear.
Warrior Gameplan Matchup : Both Decks are Midrange decks. They shine more in the early Midgame so i like to keep Drain Soul Soul Shear as a removal . You shine more the late Midgame. They dont hav good aswers to your Flesh Giant , Void Drinker. Won most of my games in the 10 cards in your deck phase with Barrens Scavenger , Blood Shard Bristleback swing turns. Even when they can answer this turn they have to Blow most of their E.T.C., God of Metal Combo, whats their main wincondtion in this Matchup.
I am gonna use a decktracker from now on so i can give you guys some stats.
Druid, Warriror,Warloc,Shaman and Priest comming soon.
Cards that you can include that are great that iam trying out myself
School Spirits , Hysteria , Soulciologist Malicia, Ogremancer , Malygos the Spellweaver ( just great when you have couple of Soul Fragment or Olgra, Mankrik's Wife in your deck what means you draw not just spells but minions from your deck). You can use any of thoos for you current Pocket Meta and replace cards that are not performing for you/you dont have.
Gonna Stream the deckevery now and than : https://www.twitch.tv/winnersfocus
I gotta say this is the worst deck I've played this expansion so far. I'm playing casual to get a feel for it and so far I'm at 12 losses in a row. I haven't even won a game. I keep getting those end game cards in my hand at the start of the game and I'm already behind. Everyone is playing face decks and I'm sitting back here trying to burn cards out of my deck to gimp myself more and never get down to 10 cards because i'm already dead. You see my point? This deck needs massive control. At least two Hysteria. Maybe School Spirits and Man'ari Mosher. Something to hold yourself in the early game until you can burn through the deck enough to start playing the end game.
Also why no Altar of Fire? Burn your cards along with their cards. Easy and fast.
Considering what cards you suggested and your abysmal winrate. You obv didnt read the guide and dont understand how the deck works/what the gameplan of the deck is. I suggest you play a more easy deck to pilot. Cheers.
pretty sure I know what the concept of the deck is. draw your deck out by drawing cards or burning cards. but what I said in my previous statement which you obviously didn't read is that while I'm burning my deck down, my opponent is going face and i'm burning away the cards I need to stop him. There are many other versions of this deck. Your version has very little control elements. The other versions are more control to help stop the early game. Cheers.
by the way it looks like you changed the deck but didn't bother to change the mulligan guides because you have cards in the mulligan that are not in your deck anymore.
So, the only card to trigger Tickatus is Jaraxxus..?
you play uncorrupted Tickatus. You don't want to corrupt him ever
I'm curious on how strong the deck is against druid, there is not so many AOE removal so how do you handle early druid for exemple ?
Token Druid is your worst Matchup, havent faced much of them. If you face lots of Token Druis maybe play another deck or tech for it ( iam no big fan of tech cards tho). Other Druid Matchup i just wrote in my guide.
I'm curious about one thing regarding this deck. How often do you actually play Neeru Fireblade in games? This deck has so much value that I can't imagine how games can get long enough for you to really make use of this card. I would like to be wrong though as the deck looks fun and different then your usual contrl warlock which makes me want to try it.
Also, Neeru Fireblade isn't mentioned as a win condition in any of listed gameplans.
Compare Neeru in this Deck with Leeroy Jenkins back than in face full aggro deck. You played Leeroy most of the time as a finisher when all you other cards where not enough to finish the game and you very rarely usedhim for trading midgame. Neeru is your finisher against Slower decks(similar to jaraxxus but you jsut put way more pressure on them when Neeru comes down), like warlock, priest(maybe even warrior) i did not have the time to write a matchup guide to thoose decks i will tho in two days( lot of work to do right now). He won me some games against the mentioned decks. And it just feels good to have him as a backup plan.
Cool deck. I like the new cards and it really seems to synergize well with warlock's overall ability to draw through their deck well. Even without the self destruction cards.
I saw someone playing a similar deck a while back, but they used Envoy Rustwix after Neeru to help keep them from fatiguing. I'm wondering if he might be a good replacement for Tickatus, since you only have one card to corrupt him, anyway?
I was running Envoy Rustwix but the thing about him is that you delay your Blood Shard Bristleback and Barrens Scvanger by 3 turns when you play him before you fatigue. And if i wanted to greed him out it just felt bad having 2 cards that you cant play before you fatigue. (Neeru Fireblade and Envoy Rustwix). But he worked some times so feel free to try him out.
I pulled a golden Neeru Fireblade so im going to play !
Lol do u ever Tickatus yourself for an early 8/8 on field and to get to an empty deck earlier? (guess no but still asking)
EDIT
Since Lord Jaraxxus is most likely the only card that corrupts Tickatus, i am really wondering?
Depends on the matchup,if you have drawn Neeru Fireblade or some of your other 2 Mill payoffcards and most importantly how much pressure you aplied before 6. When you had a good kazakus or played a Void Drinker before turn 6 he is a good play most of the time uncorrupted on 6.
You can play the deck in diffrent playstyles and you have a lot of choices to make ( for example do i greed my Raise Dead for big value with Kazakus and Mankrik and dont play my Loothoarder orBloodmage Thalnos on turn 2 or do i want to circle as fast as possible with them and aply as much pressure as possible. I have not completly mastered the deck yet hope my advice hepled tho.
Thank you !
Ive made a little change : -2x Barrens Scavenger , because it takes too long for them to cost (1) and its not pro active enough only having Taunt imo.
: - 1x Flesh Giant , same and it just gets killed, i dont know..
Added : + 1x Soulciologist Malicia because Soul Fragments - enemy trading & a corrupt Tickatus when i felt like it.
+1x Cascading Disaster for some good control, works also fine with Tamsin Roame
+1x School Spirits , same - especially against aggro.
Cascading Disaster doesn't have a spell school so there's no synergy with Tamsin Roame.
Thank you very much haha. Sometimes i cant see the forest from so many trees.
haven't tried the deck yet but I gave you your 5th upvote. I'mma try it out.
Why do warlock decks have to be the most fun of all classes? XD
Guide comming soon . Ty
