Not updated for Nath / M&D. I've been experimenting with deathrattle/Leoroxx decks for this expansion, and I'll update soon!

===================================

I'm a non-legend player, but hopefully I can get there soon with your help. I've been playing Leoroxx decks for a few seasons and while not the best meta-breaking decks out there, they ARE some of the most fun decks I've ever played in Hearthstone. Just wanted to share this one that I've been working on since this new expansion dropped.

TL;DR

Minion removal early game, draw & copy beasts, buff beasts, stomp face. The fun for me is knowing which decks you're against and knowing how long to keep those buffs going to your beasts before going in for the kill shot.

Current Card Explanations

  • Trueaim Crescent - So, so good. Basically required. Minimum is 4 damage for 1 mana. Maximum you get some buffed Trampling Rhino action on small minion to get lots of face damage in. Definitely have won games attacking a 2-3 health minion with a buffed rush rhino.
  • Acidic Swamp Ooze - Testing one. Tried Harrison Jones, and while the card is amazing, I just didn't play it often. Meh, tech card with lots of options.
  • Don't Feed the Animals - I actually crafted another for this deck. It's turning out to be quite awesome. Not sure I've ever played it non-corrupted, but it's always an option.
  • Quick Shot - Great cheap removal or for that extra little reach toward lethal.
  • Scavenger's Ingenuity - One of the core "tutoring" cards in the deck. Gotta have em.
  • Bearshark - Way underrated. Scavenger's Ingenuity T2 into Bearshark T3 is a 6/5 monster that's hard for most classes to deal with. Even later in the game, slapping down some non-targetable buffed minions for 3 is a steal. I'm really starting to like them.
  • Kill Command - More burn. Triggers the Don't Feed the Animals corrupt, and used to usually kill lifesteal/taunt minions.
  • Ramkahen Wildtamer - KEY minion. Need 2. Sad to play on T3 without a beast, but not the end of the world. I usually wait til I have some buffed beasts in my hand, but a 3-mana 4/3 is a solid body regardless.
  • Zixor, Apex Predator - Mixed. Fun legendary, and even more fun when you can buff Zixor Prime for some rage quit shennanigans, but I keep testing other 2-4 mana cards in that slot.
  • Maiev Shadowsong - Probably will be the next card to get cut. Love taking out big priest minions or the pesky taunt/lifesteal FTW, but pretty inconsistent.
  • Piercing Shot - Love this removal. It's a Fireball that can't purely go face. Pro-tip: shoot your 1-health minions to deal lethal. One of my favorite ways to win.
  • Scrap Shot - Kinda heavy removal, but the +3/+3 to a beast, that could then be copied/further buffed can be nice. It doesn't have a guaranteed spot in the deck, but it has proved helpful sometimes.
  • Warsong Wrangler - EM. VEE. PEE. Must have 2. Almost always play on T4, but it usually doesn't work out for me to coin it on T3. I usually pick Trampling Rhino, but sometimes I do Teacher's Pet against aggro. 2-3 Of either of those buffed minions over T5-T7 forces some action from the opponent.
  • Teacher's Pet - Surprisingly fun & effective especially hugely buffed. The 3-cost beasts that can drop have a chance to be poisonous plus other benefits. Quite fun.
  • Trampling Rhino - My second favorite card in the deck. I usually try to lay a few of em mid game to force the opponent on their back feet. I've got lethal by chipping away at big taunts with small minions on my board before laying a big Rhino to finish em.
  • Deathstalker Rexxar - Just an awesome card in general, but it's proved pretty helpful against aggro. Sometimes 5 armor is just enough to get to your next turn, but it's the beast hero power + Leorox & copying/buffing that makes it pretty solid. Have Leoroxx in your hand? Just make the biggest beasts you possibly can and then cheat em all out!
  • Scarlet Webweaver - Interesting addition. A Webweaver + Rhino/Pet turn is a pretty big tempo swing, and sometimes just a big body on the board is nice. I'm not completely sold, so I just included one for now.
  • Beastmaster Leoroxx - Bow to Leoroxx.  So much fun. Not the only win condition by any means, but really ridiculously fun when you can triple Trampling Rhino or even better King Krush for the win. I think my highest was 3x Krush that were 13/13.
  • King Krush - One of my favorite minions. Always had a soft spot since Classic came out. Must keep.

Other Cards I Tried

  • Flare - I lose to Secret Mages and Paladins all the time even with two of these. Maybe player error, but when I do play them, they just don't seem too impactful since the secrets just keep pouring out. YMMV.
  • Tracking - Always been mixed on this card. It can be fun to draw Leoroxx on T7 with it, but rarely happens.
  • Selective Breeder - I constantly take this out and put it back in. 2-Mana 1/1 is weak, and the non-buffed copy isn't super effective. Shrug.
  • Explosive Trap - I thought it'd be super helpful, but it just wasn't. Easy to play around, and most of the aggro I have a hard time against (Odd Paladin & Aggro/Token/Gibberling Druid) have minions past 2 health anyway.
  • Tame Beast - I want to love this card, but it never seemed super impactful. Maybe I'm looking at it wrong.
  • Far Watch Post - Love the card, but just a bit too slow for this deck. Not a beast, can't attack, and the extra 1 mana cost for a card or two never seemed to hurt the opponents too much.
  • Dire Frenzy - Usually have a hand full of beasts and at 4 mana, I just didn't ever cast it.
  • Krolusk Barkstripper - Even crafted a second one for this while climbing, but there's just so many other good 4-mana cards, and the random aspect of it sucks.
  • Rinling's Rifle - Great card, but since this deck runs no secrets, and the weapon only runs 1 other weapon you want, it was pretty ineffective.
  • Wild Bloodstinger - I love this card, but it never seemed too impactful. Sometimes nice to destroy combo pieces or minions with an annoying battlecry, but meh.
  • Gahz'rilla - So love this card, but I almost never got to attack with it. Ran it with some Rapid Fire for some insane OTKs though. I laughed hard when it worked.

Other Cards To Try???

  • Prospector's Caravan - More hand buff? Though a 1/3 for 2 that doesn't trigger til next turn is iffy.
  • Revenge of the Wild - A "win-more" condition to play with Leoroxx?
  • Scavenging Hyena - Could get super gnarly if played buffed and then crash into some minions with a few of yours out, but I don't know. Still a very threatening card, so that could help.
  • Diving Gryphon - Could be a nice combo with or budget replacement for Zixxor. 3-Mana potentially buffed rush sounds pretty sweet.
  • Pack Kodo - Weak body, no tempo gain, but could draw something useful.
  • Wing Blast - Cheap removal? Dead card in hand?
  • Fleethoof Pearltusk - Just realized I had this card. Worth a shot.
  • Oondasta - Fun, but I doubt it'd get used too often.
  • Halazzi, the Lynx - Could see some monster combos that are too inconsistent to pull off. Hmmm....
  • Dispatch Kodo - Big buffage and then take out taunts or push lethal with it?
