Hello everyone, Anomaly back at it again with a new warrior deck making use of the new enrage mechanic; Frenzy!

This list is the pure definition of what a midrange deck wants to do, take it slow for the first 3 turns, then turn on the gas with strong minions overwhelming your opponent. With rush basically becoming the intrinsic effect for warrior, the class finally has enough rush minions to make a true rush warrior archetype.

What is this deck trying to do?

This deck is quite an interesting one, as the first few turns will usually be utilizing the armor up hero power and draw tools like corsair cache to setup your Outrider's axe (The best card of the set by far). After you play your axe on turn 4, you start the chain of threats while simultaneously drawing cards when you clear small threats with your weapon. With the loss of Risky Skipper, warrior lost one valuable way to trigger frenzy effects while simultaneously clearing the board/gaining armor with Armorsmith. Well...we kind of instantly got a replacement for skipper and it is the whirling combatant, this card functions similarly to skipper but with the loss of battle rage, Armorsmith will not be used in this list. That may change if the meta is hyper aggressive. Whirling Combatant helps trigger frenzy effects while also being a meaty boy on the board, especially if hit with a buff from Overlord Runthak!

Cards like Warmaul Challenger, Mor'shan Elite and Stonemaul anchorman will keep the tempo going while putting up some taunts against your opponents, what I like most about this deck is that all cards have immediate functionality when played on the board.

The deck also has a LOT of draw so Mankrik is feasible in a deck like this (plus its a fun card!). With multiple ways to deal one damage to all enemy minions, Lord Barov is a nice stabilization tool to clear some board in a jiffy. Other than that, your weapons, and minions are the only source of board control in this deck. I have a single copy of Playmaker in this deck because its a really high value card which has some interesting combos, for example summoning a second Kargath Bladefist to get 2 primes into your deck, or perhaps summoning a second Overlord Runthak/Blademaster Samuro to buff your hand or eradicate the enemy's board are just a few scenarios that come to mind.

I will be adding more to this guide after playing some games with the release of the expansion tomorrow, do let me know how your experience/thoughts are with this deck in the comments below!

EDIT: I cut Samuro (felt super underwhelming) and added Cthun and my god is this deck amazing, 11-3 so far and everyone underestimatesmy tempo and board presence when they see cthun at the start of the game. Some matchups, tempo didnt prove to be enough and I needed a win-cndition in my back pocket. Also, ETC has felt amazing for closing out games with bumper car and sometimes a pre-existing board. THIS DECKS WORKS, TRY IT!
