After the nerf of Leeching Poison, a once strong archetype, kingsbane mill rogue, was sent to the grave. However, with the printing of Paralytic Poison, the deck is reborn! Though the healing + sustain potential isn't quite as high as it once was with the og leeching poison, some new stall cards like Cloak of Shadows help make up the difference and Blade Flurry will also be buffed to 2 mana very soon, further boosting the power of the deck. It's hard to say what exactly is the right balance of weapon buffs, draw, stall, and board clear at the moment without testing the deck and adjusting to the meta, so I will be sure to keep the list updated to find that balance.
double post.
I like the deck a lot. Only thing I would personally test out is replacing the Leeching Poison with Swindle. My reasoning behind this is that the attack of the weapon won't be as high as the aggro variant of Kingsbane without Nitroboost Poison and Tinker's Sharpsword Oil. Assuming you play the buffs before you play Valeera the Hollow, the max attack would be 9 with 2 Buccaneers, 2 Deadly Poisons, and 2 Paralytic Poisons. Of course, Swindle conflicts with Raiding Party. I will test it with both.
I thought about swindle, but I think I would run Cutting Class before I ran swindle. I included the leeching poisons since they would be a decent way to heal up on a doomerang turn. Health total might matter especially against high damage output decks like secret mage. I run armor vendors in my normal mill rogue, but since you might be swinging face more often in this deck, giving the opponent armor isn't very good.
I forgot about the Doomerang. That makes sense. Doubling the heal is definitely great.
I thought so too :) Also, It's likely you'll get at least one buff after playing dk valeera to make it 10-15 attack on average. If you want, you could also shuffle Buccaneers into your deck lol. Would be a pretty bm way to win if you did that instead of just fatiguing them though.
