The goal of this Hearthstone Duel Paladin combo deck is to use Duel combined with Shadow Hunter Vol'jin!
We do this by playing cards like Duel, Vol'jin, and Commencement to cheat out very large minions!
Super fun meme deck! Good luck!
Call to Adventure was just the card I needed to finally make Voljin work in Duel Paladin. Even when you don't need him to cheat out your big minions, he can be used offensively to force your opponent's key battlecry minions into the open. It's a stretch, but its the only way I've been able to beat Tickatus Warlocks with this deck.
I like Burly Shovelfist instead of Plagued Protodrake. Especially with Lightforged Blessing this has saved me a few times against aggro
this deck is trash
so instead of the wizard you use Voljin here to mainly 'cheat' out your big minions if you draw them too early? That would mean 5mana + 2mana HeroPower, not really big help when on 8 mana you can play it regularly. So I would leave itr out and instead of the call to adventure I'd put something that helps with enemy taunts or better boardclear
Would never recommend playing a duel deck with a small minion like Vol'jin if you want to win, seems like this one could be fun for sure though!
I had great success with your previous version of this deck and no success with this new one. Could just be a run of bad luck but my anecdotal evidence suggests this version is less effective.
Super fun to play, but one observation: If Vol'Jin is not on my hand while playing Duel, duel always pulls out Vol'jin. :(
with call to adventure chacnes are pretty good to have vuljin in hand till duell or comencement :)
if you draw it
i think in most matchups it is ok to keep vuljin in the mulligan. otherwise you have 5 turns to draw him or one of ur two call to adventures. im not good on math, but i think that makes chances pretty high. in 18 matches it hapned once or twice, that i duelled/commenced vuljin. thats bearable
