Welcome!
As a long standing Hunter main, I have played each and every archetype of Hunter deck. Some I've loved, some I've hated. Some, I didn't realize how much I would miss until they rotated.
Big Recruit Hunter was one of my favorite decks when it was Standard. So was Secret Hunter when it was top of the meta.
I've gone through multiple iterations trying to make Maxima Blastenheimer deadly...not just "kinda" viable.
This deck is my continued effort to achieve that sense of nostalgia from days past.
Please, find a short guide below. I hope you enjoy!
Good luck out there.

HOW TO
early game (mulligan)
Play as a Secret Hunter would. Look for secrets in your mulligan. If you have a secret in hand with use specific to the matchup, you can keep a 3-cost. If it is necessary, coin for a secret. If no secret, coin for a 3-drop.
mid game
You will play your secrets and cards associated to secrets for value. The rest of your spells are for tempo. Play as a Spell Hunter.
late game
Look to turn your mid game tempo into functioning face damage. This will force your opponent to use resources toward your token board. Stall for Maxima Blastenheimer. If she doesn't show up, end the game anyway with Nagrand Slam.
In your experience, is Tracking enough of card draw, to make sure that you get to play Maxima Blastenheimer?
I wouldn't mind to replace one Nagrand Slam with a Scrapyard Colossus because the list lacks some reliable taunts, to survive agro, except for a lucky Misha.
Or do you just give up on agro apponents?
