New description section every 5 upvotes !

Update 09/03/2021 :

Thanks for the hype on my deck list and i am really glad you like it. due the high amout of upvote i will now add 2 new description sections here: Card choice / possible replacement and Combos synergies those two section are ment to work to gether to anderstand how the deck works and how it's constructed to face some of the meta decks whitch is quite agressive tbh.

Let's jump into it !

Card choice / possible replacement / Card synergies /  Cards use case:

As you can see see decks is mostly based on removal spells and minions providing spells to control the board until you get the final combo and finishers. It's a slow deck but it has some options to survive consistently.

Minions:

Most of minions are minions providing "discover a spell" or "add a spell to your hand" because of the concept of the deck mainly arround board control further more those minions add some board presence to clean and kill some small minions to limit agression and face attacks whitch is quite common in the actual meta. Those minions as Steward of Scrolls, Shadow Hunter Vol'jin, Vulpera Scoundrel, Wandmaker,Marshspawn or  Instructor Fireheart whitch is a very important card and can make a big difference on mid game.

Choosing the righ spell on discover is the key. consider choosing blast or low cost aoe spells (Lightning Storm, Dunk Tank easily corrupted in this deck, etc ... ) or even the Witch's Brew or Tidal Wave against agro. Against control or decks with big minons big AOE like  Earthquake, Devolving Missiles or even Palgue of Murlocs can help to ruin your opponent gameplay. This spell flexibility has some advantages to help and have a better adaptation to the deck you are facing but also drawbacks with some unconsistancy on the spells you can get.

This is why the Quest Corrupt the Waters is here. in aim to help providing more spells and having more chance to get what tou need. Also this mechanic of discover can be used wisely if you have some "insight" (not the card !) and the feeling of how the game is going to go.

also this discover spell minions can help you to get silences with Earth Shock providing more Revolve.

a minion to survive, the Groundskeeper gives some fresh air with good healing 5 without quest fullfiled 10 with Heart of Vir'naal hero power.

One of the most discussed card choice here is the presence of Shadow Hunter Voljin. I personnaly use it more as a game breaker for the opponent to trigger some anoying battlecry cards from his/her hand like a Tickatus or an Y'Shaarj, the Defiler etc and then kill it or transfomr it into a murloc or aany other option is good. It can also be used to retrieve a corrupted clown to your hand but this is quite rare tbh. this card can be replaced for an Acidic Swamp Ooze or if you want more board control The Lurker Below is a good option.

also an other cad that can be replaced is the Marshspawn for a Cobalt Spellkin to help to currupt the Dunk Tank and providing more one mana cost spells like Devolving Missiles

Clowns here are supposed to be corrupted in the end with Yogg-Saron, Master of Fate or King Phaoris and then revolved into 9 mana cost minions (a pretty scary board tbh)

End in the end ofc Y'Shaarj, the Defiler as finisher to pull out your clowns and dunk tank a second time.

Little twist of the deck:

the only weapon in the deck is defenitly a twist and can help more for maintain some presence on the board while cleaning it with spells but the best thing of all is that if you play a one mana cost spell it will systematically make pops a Reliquary of Souls and can be a really helpfull twist for your games.

Spells:

most of spells are AOE spells to maintain board under control. and also healing spells. nothing special to declare about that

the main card and spell that gives another twist to the deck is devolve. first of all it's main use is to change your corrupted clown into 9 mana cost minions that are more frightning that simple 4/4 taunts but also to change a board of low cost agressive minions into poor little minions that are less agressive.

1 mana cost spells like devolve or Plague of murlocs are the key against big priest/ resurection priests or big control decks.
