Changes I'm testing this season before the Core Set Changes
I made changes to the original version to a dragon version because I don't see as many weapon rogue as last season. Try it if you want or use the previous version which worked getting legend last season.
That's all, make the changes you want for this final season before the big core changes. Good luck!

Ripper Warrior [Legend 69% WR]
Hi I'm Wololo#1780, I had previously updated Hunter and Shaman decks which achieved Legend and now is the time for Warrior, in this case Big Warrior but with some changes from the usual decks, mainly techs against Aggro.
I tried differents versions of this deck (22 says my deck tracker) so you can change the deck if you feel like it.
Possible Changes / Inclusions
You can try to include Coerce against Big Decks, a pin like Improve Morale or Slam against Paladin and general, or Whirlwind against aggro/token. Also Corsair Cache with a Livewire Lance can work too.
That being said I don't want to keep changing the deck anymore, I have tried everything and I feel this version is consistent enough. But you are free to try.
Why you don't run Kargath Bladefist or Deathwing, Mad Aspect?
Because I have bad luck and I will always pull them from Commencement or Dimensional Ripper.
You frequently get Kargath from Athletic Studies, and if you really want Deathwing you can run Boom Squad or Livewire Lance which give you the dragon or the lackey that gives you dragons often enough.
Replacements
Is Archmage Vargoth necessary?
No, but is really good even when you draw it for combos with Athletic Studies, In Formation!, Shield Block and Sword and Board against face, or to double any AOE or spell you need.
You can replace it with anything like the suggestions previously mentioned.
Is Rattlegore neccesary?
Yes, and there isn't a perfect replacement for him, but you can try Plagued Protodrake, Runaway Blackwing or Ysera.
Mulligan
All: Anything below 3 mana, Barricade and Commencement when possible.
Aggro/Face: Keep Shield Block and a small AOE (not Brawl)
Token: Keep Brawl, prioritize AOEs over anything.
Control: Same as All.
Druid: Keep Brawl [/card](good against Token and Big) and [card]Shield Slam (Big).
Paladin: Keep Shield Slam. You can take the risk of keeping a big mana card for if they play Nozdormu the Timeless, but I would mulligan normally.
Shaman: Same as Token but try to get also an Athletic Studies if possible.
Warlock: Is usually Control, so mulligan same as Control.
Proof of Legend and Winrate
To conclude:
This was a fun midrange/control deck that is pretty powerful but it has bad matchups.
Especifically: Miracle Galakrond Priest, Highlander Mage, Big Druid.
There may be other hard matchups, but this are the ones that often feel impossible.
Still try to do your best and enjoy when you earn a hard win!
Have fun, ask whatever you want, and Upvote if you like the deck. Good luck!
hola una pregunta que es AOE?
Area of effect (AOE): Area de efecto, son los ataques que involucran a varios enemigos, en este caso cosas tipo Brawl or Bladestorm
Looks pretty fun :D I've seen people talking about Kargath and Deathwing, what about Barov? Is his value worth the risk?
Also, seems like pulling Deathwing isn't that bad because of the stats. Or am I wrong?
Deathwing, Mad Aspect is better than Barov as an Aoe because of the stats as you said.
I included it with other possible changes for this season I just wrote at the top of the deck's description, if you are interested.
"Frecuently"
Oh a typo thanks, English is not my first language, its what it is.
Hi, and thx for this deck, looks pretty cool.
Unfortunately, I don't have the two ceremonial mauls, and I don't really know what to sub in.
I was thinking about Kargath, and a reaper's scythe, but I'm not fully convinced.
Bulwark of Azzinoth could've been a cool solution, but I don't have it either.
If you guys have any ideas, or if you've already tested other cards.....I could use some advice.
Thx.
Reaper's Scythe are a good replacement, I have seen the youtuber Ecore 100 play them in his version of Big Warrior.
He also plays Kargath Bladefist and Deathwing, Mad Aspect and suffer a lot of times from pulling them with Commencement and Dimensional Ripper sooo I prefer to not suffer the same haha.
Also I forgot, Livewire Lance are good too, they can save matches, give more plays while you wait for the late turns, and they work well against secrets (of all classes).
Literally helpless against warlock.
Hopefully get some better match ups tonight and fix this 0-5
Against Zoo this work pretty well, against Galakrond I didn't have a lot of problems.
Against Tickatus you win by putting pressure as much as you can, big minions going face as soon as you can and making playing tickatus more difficult (also having a shield slam for it helps). Generally the main big condition is Rattlegore followed by a good Dimensional Ripper.
If you still have problems, cut whatever you like for one or two Plagued Protodrake. Against most matchups they will be dead cards but it could help against control decks.
Also an ultimate tech card would be C'Thun, the Shattered, as it adds more cards to counter a bit of Tickatus mill. I tried it before and it makes the draws more inconsistent sometimes (like when you want the Commencement in Turn 7 and you get C'Thun parts) but apart from that it adds some good removal too so try it if you want.
Good luck and tell me if some of this worked for you. To sum, offense is the best defense, keep pressure and face is the place.
I like the deck, but I'm surprised at the lack of Kargath Bladefist for early removal - you think the deck works well without him?
I liked the consistency of don't having to worry about pulling Kargath from the big spells, and Athletic Studies gives him often enough for me. And I have seen a lot of Youtubers suffer from pulling him or Deathwing, Mad Aspect so I prefer it this way. If you want to run it, you must run 1 Stage Dive for more consistency. I am fine with double Athletic Studies, In Formation! and Barricade for midgame, the last two pretty underrated.
I think I'm going to do that, tbh. I like the Bladefist a lot and find he's really key to this kind of deck. I find In Formation to be a little too inconsistent for my tastes and -2 In Formation +1 Stage Dive +1 Kargath Bladefirst to work fine.
It must be my bad luck but I just tried those changes and the very first match I pull Kargath Bladefist of a Commencement.
The worse is that I already had one in my hand that I got from Athletic Studies, I just have 0% winrate against Murphy's Law.
Its like I said above about the HS youtuber Ecore 100 when he plays Big Warrior, is always Kargath. Always haha.
Fair enough - but MY OWN murphy's law keeps getting me bad high-mana taunts off In Formation!
Yeah HS can be a b**** sometimes. Still I would try Boom Squad, Livewire Lance or Bulwark of Azzinoth to go for a no-minion replacement first, but what it works for you its fine. Good luck!
I might replace the Ceremonial Mauls with some of them, they do feel a little 'win-more'
You think that's bad? I just fought a no-minion mage which should have been an easy win. Found a Bladefist off studies, but also had the card in my deck. Drew darn near perfectly for 10 turns - no minions.
Send the conjured Bladefist into a perfect trade on 9
Turn 10, play Ripper on curve, get Kargath Bladefist
Turn 11, play second Ripper , get Kargath Bladefist
Turn 12, draw Kargath bladefist
Dead.
Ah this is a fun deck. I summoned four Rattlegores when he mistakenly left me Vargoth on the board. I also feel like this is a pretty easy deck to pick up and play, no real huge combo needed but very nice to pull off. I'm also in bronze so idfk.
