I was able to get him down to three hit points using Mage and failed many times after.

Then, I defeated him first try with this deck. 

I even had a terrible turn where a corrupted Auspicious Spirits summoned a Shu'ma, which would have given Supremus five 6/6's next turn.  I luckily had Mind Visioned a Shadowflame to dispose of the unwanted Shu'ma and still proceeded to win with a buffed Circus Amalgam.
