This has to be one of the most fun decks i've played in a while! The amount of discounts you can get is ridiculous xD
Fun deck! When is goes off, it skyrockets OFF! I only dont understand the Illucia.... is it counter for Warlocks?
Illucia is a counter for all the OTK stuff that's rampant. Mage, Warrior, Warlock (not OTK but similar use)... potentially even those token Druid builds that were sprouting up.
Any replacement for Murozond the Infinite ?
Just curious, wouldn't Reliquary of Souls be a better 1 drop to resurrect from Rally!?
And Illucia also seems a bit odd to throw in here for the same reason, since Nazmani is way better for the 3-drop spot.
Well you wouldn't really play Illucia unless its necessary anyway at which point it'd be late game already. By that time your res pool will already be filled with Nazamanis from all the raise deads and gift of luminances. The chances of ressing Illucia are low
So I asked Zananana about Reliquary of souls saying that its a better 1 drop than cleric to rez and he just laughed at the suggestion and said it was a bad card and the prime only helps against aggro.
Yeah, people really should try the deck, or just generally have a basic understanding of what decks are doing before they start asking questions. Usually these things become very self evident very quickly. yes Reliquary is a better one drop, this deck is cheating so much mana and generating so much value and gives 0 craps about that. Similar to the Illucia questions, she isn't a slam on 3 3-drop. Yes she costs 3, but you're playing her usually turn 8-12 to disrupt combos and that's mostly it.

I do not have an understanding of what this deck is trying to do, therefore I am asking questions to understand it. I didn't want to craft two legendaries to try it out before gaining information.
From the deck list alone, it looks like its game plan is to just generate a win condition and play a bunch of spells, while discounting them and bringing back your key cards (Sethekk and Nazmani). So it didn't seem unreasonable to me to have Reliquary in the deck for added punch, as well as a late game target for your generated spells.
As for Illucia, it makes sense to be saved as a counter for OTK and combos. Certainly not played on 3, but to me still seemed out of place if your hand is going to be full of 0 cost stuff by that time, too. Wouldn't want to pass those over to your opponent unless you were going to use your opponent's combo to win the game.
Completely agree with the above regarding not wanting to craft 2 legendaries to try the deck out itself. The win condition is effectively what you said above regarding just generating card value while discounting your hand.
Illucia is really good against combo late game especially DH OTK.
Reliquary is a good card I personally think especially against aggro although one thing I have thought is if you don't draw it off mulligan then it's slightly lost in value as then later in the game I would rather draw a cleric than a Reliquary. Definitely has its ups and downs as I said I didn't get a clear response but apparently not needed at all within the deck.
