This is my first submitted deck, so apologies for any formatting issues.
The point of this deck is to flood the board as quickly as possible and boost your totems to overwhelm your opponent. If you can get Totemic Reflection on Grand Totem Eys'or early enough, the game is pretty much set. For reference, I played this deck exclusively from Rank 5 to Legend.
Mulligan: In General, try to mulligan for Grand Totem Eys'or, Whack-A-Gnoll Hammer if you don't have the coin (or Lightning Bloom), or Splitting Axe if you do . Totemic Reflection is also super valuable early on.
Notes:
-Trick Totem can swing you either way if you copy it early on; use with caution. If you have the choice between copying Trick Totem or EVIL Totem, go with EVIL Totem, it's the safer bet.
-Serpentshrine Portal is a great option for early removal if you're up against zoo lock or any variant of hunter.
-Faceless Manipulator may seem like an odd choice, but it has come in handy numerous times to either copy Eys'or when I don't have any other options, or copying the best target on the opponent's board.
I seem to have the most trouble against ultra aggressive rogues, as they have access to cheap removal. Otherwise, this deck is aggressive enough that you can outrace most opponents. Good luck!
Sorry but this deck is really bad
Right now, Totem Shaman is the only deck that I can build with the cards I own, so I've given it a try as well. It certainly can be a great deck, but it does suffer from certain limitations.
I think my best games have always been from being able to cheat out an Eys'or alongside totemic reflection on the same turn, the earlier the better. Then it just snowballs from there.
But not drawing Eys'or earlier and the opponent having good removal options is just brutal. It's tough to drop a zero attack totem on a board with minions on the other side, knowing it won't even take any health off of them.
I like your addition of the Whack-A-Gnoll Hammer though, I definitely want to give that a try in my deck next time, seems like a good way to buff early minions and maybe start the snowball.... :)
Wait Video !
After playing with this deck all day, I can safely say that this is by far not a recommended deck. Don't waste your dust.
I appreciate the feedback; the deck can take some getting used to. It may not be a meta deck, but I think most decks I've faced are either not expecting this deck or not used to how it plays out.
Just because I've had success with the deck does not necessarily mean that everyone else will.
I've lost pretty much every single match with this deck.
