Hello everyone and welcome to another one of my Shaman decks! For those of you who do not know me, I am GayPirate (or GayestPirate on twitch) and I usually hover in the top 1k legend bracket on EU. Today I'm presenting my counter to ETC warrior, Zoo warlock and Miracle rogue all in one deck!

I have always been a fan of control shaman so I decided to try it out using some fun tools we got at the Darkmoon Faire — most notably Claw Machine and Strongman. The deck strategy is straight forward: run your opponent out of resources while using as few resources as you can in order to do so. The deck has healing for days, large tempo swings and enough board clears to frustrate any deck (well, except druid. Fuck druid).

Control-Winrate

Mulligan:

Vs Aggro:

Always Keep: Lightning Bloom Hagatha's Scheme

Sometimes Keep: Instructor Fireheart Torrent Hex Diligent Notetaker Groundskeeper

The aim of the game in the aggro matchup is to cheat out your board clears as early as possible, hopefully developing or healing along the way. Bloom really helps with this — if you find tidal wave, walking fountain or earthquake, the game is as good as done.

Vs Control (and rogue):

Always Keep:

Hagatha's Scheme Hex Instructor Fireheart

Sometimes Keep: Diligent Notetaker Far Sight Torrent

I can't stress enough how important it is to have hex against Rattlegore/big Edwin/Questing. Hex is the great equalizer, turning all broken mechanics into a little frog. In the rogue matchup I like to hard mulligan for torrents and hex off coin, but on the coin I don't mind holding a scheme.

Favored Matchups:

ETC/Enrage Warrior: Just stay above 24 health and keep board clear in the late game. Easiest matchup for this deck by a mile

Zoo Warlock/Aggro DH: don't let the board get out of hand, but don't commit board clears too early. You have 30 HP, use that resource wisely and try to get a swing turn with fountain/tidal wave

Miracle Rogue: even without hex/torrent, you should be okay. keep a removal spell for each questing, Jandice and Edwin. They will run out of resources eventually, but you will never run out of healing.

Soul DH: you heal more than they do damage. Don't be afraid to use a big clear or hard removal on their 5/5s and 6/6s if you have another in hand.

Unfavored Matchups:

Aggro Shaman: Way too bursty; mulligan for Witch's Brew and Notetakers and pray you don't draw board clears

Druid: way too much stuff, Malygos hurts, clowns create huge boards, if it's mountseller GA druid maybe it's a better matchup

Silas OTK/OTK DH: Yeah, super hard. Try to pressure their life totals early with your few big minions and pray for a miracle (like my Silas opponent rolling a Trick Totem off his Faceless Lackey and it casting Shadow Council replacing his hand with demons) You could run Hecklebots instead of Claw Machines to counter these decks, but it's not a must.

Galakrond Warlock: Tickatus will destroy your deck, so the only way to improve this matchup will be with Elysiana. Seeing as I focused on beating zoo, warrior and rogues, I felt no need to try beating every deck out there.

Even Matchups:

Priest: Well, save your healing for fatigue lol. Matchup can be improved with Elysiana, just don't keep blooms with her or else your opponent could Illucia+Bloom+Elysiana your win condition

I did not see any hunters or mages so data might be skewed. Have fun with this sleeper deck!
