Hello everyone, and today we'll learn how to SPELL.

(because how to FACE we have already learned here)

I love Hunter class, about 2 years ago I loved to play Spell-hunter with Lesser Emerald Spellstone and Rhok'delar, even earlier with Barnes and Y'Shaarj, Rage Unbound. Today we won't pray to Y'Shaarj but will pray to Yog-Soth... khm, Yogg-Saron, Master of Fate!

Few statistics of this deck

Game plan 

This deck is played like common midrange hunter with good tempo, but if game goes in late we can finish it with Yogg-Saron, Master of Fate. Therefore we should mill our deck till turn 10 with Tracking, Scavenger's Ingenuity and pull secrets from deck with Phase Stalker and Inconspicuous Rider. In the same time we should pick up the tempo with good cards like Imprisoned Felmaw, Animal Companion or card combinations like secrets + Petting Zoo, Wolpertinger + Scavenger's Ingenuity etc.

Main combinations

1) Open the Cages + Snake Trap/Pack Tactics + Petting Zoo = 3x (4x) 3/3 on a board + almost guaranted Animal Companion on next turn. This combo is so powerful, that you can have lethal on turn 5-6 from the board. Usually this combo can be played on turn 4-5, but with coin and 2 secrets + Petting Zoo in hand you will play it on turn 3.

2) Scavenger's Ingenuity beautifully combines with our beasts (Wolpertinger, Phase Stalker) and mills the deck.

3) Rinling's Rifle is also perfectly combined with Petting Zoo.

About mulligan

(1) These cards you need to keep in start hand in all situations:

Toxic Reinforcements, Imprisoned Felmaw, Phase Stalker, Scavenger's Ingenuity (only 1x for start hand).

(2) These cards you should keep if you've already got something from (1):

Wolpertinger, Inconspicuous Rider, Animal Companion.

(3) These cards you should keep only if you've already got Petting Zoo:

Open the Cages, Pack Tactics, Snake Trap, Rinling's Rifle

About card choices and replacements

Why there is no Eaglehorn Bow? Because I think, that it is pretty slow card, + there are a lot of Kobold Stickyfinger in current meta.

Why there are no Secretkeepers? Firstly I played with it, but usually you don't want to keep secrets in start hand and play them with Secretkeeper. You want to pull secrets from deck with Phase Stalker and Inconspicuous Rider.

Replacements if you want to get deck cheaper:

Rinling's Rifle --> Hyena Alpha must be great replacement.

Snake Trap --> 2nd Pack Tactics
