I've won 4/5 matches with this random deck. I only lost to a mage because she got an Archmage Antonidas from the gifts and had 2 low cost deal 6 dmg spell and basically 1 shot me. 

Honestly though, the only minion I've even been able to play is Convincing Infiltrator and Radiant Elemental, so trading some cards out for some draws may help even more. I've only lasted 2 the 2nd round of gifts once and that was just because of the mage playing Doomsayer the second round.

Basically, just silence your gifts if you can and kill theirs quickly. Save your big clears like Confuse for the second round of gifts, just in case. (TIP: If you have your board full by 2nd round of gifts, they won't get any new gifts)
