Hey everyone, I'm Gatormatthew. I finish top 500 on NA every month, and I make educational Hearthstone content. Today's guide is on a returning classic: Big Warrior. While this expansion did not give the deck a huge array of new tools, it did get the Warrior powerhouse Minefield, an incredible card to fend off aggro decks. Stage Dive also allows us to immediately draw our Kargath Bladefist and eventually the prime to gain us armor. I went 6-1 with this deck on my legend climb, placing at 836 Legend. Below, I have a quick written guide on the deck as well as a video guide that I recorded on my climb to Legend. Hope the guide helps, and good luck in your games :)

The general strategy for this deck is simple: Play your clears earlygame, cheat out your minions in the lategame. Cards like Sword and Board and Minefield easily fend off aggro decks. The deck then finishes off the opponent with lategame bombs like Commencement, Rattlegore, and Dimensional Ripper. The main thinking that happens is spreading out your lategame bombs around Control Warrior and spreading out your removal as best as you can vs decks that pressure you.

The mulligan is pretty simple. Expecting an aggro deck? Keep Sword and Board and Minefield. Vs a slower deck? Keep Commencement and Kargath Bladefist. Always keepAthletic Studies.
