Is the best ban actually the Sigil runner?

I would say best or second best.  If you play the taunt deck, with Bolster and wax elementals, Altruis would be the best ban IMO.  For the Disco Warlock deck, I would agree with you about Sigil Runner probably being the best ban:  1) so they don't cycle and 2) so there are fewer Fist targets.

There are multi win condition in this deck. In my games oppenents banned battlefiends and i won double alt and sigils. Probably best ban is sigil to prevent draw

They always ban Altruis, but it's the slowest (=weakest) card in here lol. Lethals by turn 5
