This deck guide is a work in progress.

My first published deck that actually works consistently so far in Diamond to Legend, it has 3 win conditions. Any feedback is very welcome!

The core ideas

Some cards I tried out but didn't make it to the final deck are

  • Auspicious Spirits because besides the inconsistency, in general I found 7-drops to be underwhelming
  • Darkmoon Dirigible because even though an "ok" card, it's simply underwhelming compared to other corrupt cards

Mulligan

In general, you want to keep early game cards, especially between 1-4 mana and definitely corrupt cards such as Insight and Fairground Fool, since you'll be naturally corrupting them due to the heavy mana curve of the deck and Lorekeeper Polkelt will deny you drawing them later.

Strategy

Against aggro, same as res priest, keep early heals such as Renew or Penance and keep taunts such as Fairground FoolConvincing Infiltrator and especially Khartut Defender. Keep Psychopomp in combination.

Against mid-range, similar strategy, Convincing Infiltrator is very strong keep, use Archmage Vargoth with revive cards to drag them into your late control game.

Against control you are very strong not just due to Mass Resurrection, but extra win conditions via Y'Shaarj, the Defiler refuel and your (very likely to draw)  C'Thun, the Shattered. Keep Lorekeeper Polkelt (to play on curve) and card draw. It puts them on the clock, and ironically it re-counters Tickatus warlocks, since you are less likely to lose your power cards.

Note, if you are not drawing into Lorekeeper Polkelt, that is fine, you'll still draw your high curve cards, just slower.

Special mechanics

Be aware Lorekeeper Polkelt can be countered by any shuffle card from your opponent, because it shuffles the whole deck, examples are Bad Luck Albatross or Bomb.

There is a way to re-counter it, which is using Raise Dead to replay it and re-order your deck again.
