This is my first ever deck submission, and I'm proud to announce I just hit wild legend yesterday with this deck.

Overview:

This deck is a control-style highlander deck with mechathun as the final win condition. The general combo is to play nightshade matron sometime along the game, which will discard mechathun, and on the combo turn, you play Cruel Dinomancer + Sanguine Reveler + Cataclysm to finish your opponent off (provided they haven't lost already).

There is also potential to highroll your combo pieces with The Dark Portal and Jepetto Joybuzz, allowing you to not need an extra turn playing Emperor Thaurissan or even Nightshade Matron.

Matchups:

This deck is heavily favored against Aggro Druid. I managed to get my "On a roll" 12 wins achievement completed as I just kept facing Aggro Druids from diamond 6 to diamond 3.

The worst matchup for this deck is probably quest mage, however that's practically non-existent in the current meta. The next worst matchup is probably odd-paladin. The aggressive nature of odd-paladin means you need to keep clearing their board and applying pressure to ensure you don't die.

This deck handles priest rather well. I had to face multiple priests (both highlander and big priest) and boy is it annoying. however as long as your opponent isn't insanely lucky, and you draw rather fast, this deck generally beats both highlander and big priest.

You won't find this deck anywhere else (unless I or someone else shared it). I'm no streamer or youtuber, just a casual f2p HS player. Back in 2016, when I joined HS during the first old gods expansion, I made a quote for myself. "If you hit legend with a meta deck you found online, then that makes you good at using the meta deck someone else made. If you really want to be considered a good player, then you gotta make your own meta, and beat the meta with your new meta. That's truly what distinguishes you from the average ranker."
