Played HS since Beta, never got passed gold/plat. Now first time Legend!

In the end only shadowpriests en secretmages, both got me sometimes, very close each time.

Swapped out Forbidden words for Greater healing potion and had a walk over.

Gonna quit HS now for a while; the end grind took all the fun out of the game for me for now.

I must say I adore this deck' Went bronze -> diamond in an hour or so :) I just don't know how, but every time I'm playing this, I'm ending up with all minions from deck in hand at turn 6. (facepalm) 

Just hit legend with this deck 20 min ago. Had some rly bad draw matches which I could have won, so yeah otherwise win rate would have been even better. I mean I got x2 multiplier from diamond 5 to legend but still, this deck just works right now. Thumbs up.

thanks for all the comments, in the last version of the deck i have put 2 mass resurrection for 2 psychic scream and works even better, also 1 holy smite for the wave of apathy

You don't have much against a control shaman (Missiles, Devolve, Revolve...). Good thing they're not many around, but I'm one of them and it makes you think twice before trying this deck.

This list got me to legend from D5 in a few hours of play after picking it up yesterday

It works well if you're playing casually.  Normally I need to be on a PC to be competitive after D5 but this one I could comfortably pilot on an Ipad.

It absolutely eats Odd Paladin and Aggro Demon Hunter for breakfast.  Being able to accelerate out Mass Hysteria and Psychic Scream is crazy.  Don't fall for Oh My Yogg!, pretty much the only game I lost to Odd Pala was because I hadn't realised people were playing it yet.

Aggro druid can sneak games from under you - you have to keep a removal in hand for Infectious Sporeling (which ruins your strategy) and Voracious Reader (which will just ruin you).

Mirror matches are exceptionally annoying and comes to whoever gets a Blood of G'huun to stick.  I have a feeling this is unfavoured against some of the other builds out there running Mass Resurrection.

I changed Breath of the Infinite [/card] x2 to [card]Deranged Doctor for some survival and Blood of The Ancient One

I found Breath of the Infinite absolutely crucial to the deck crushing Odd Paladin, Aggro Demon Hunter and Aggro Druid.  Unless you're deep in a pocket of control decks on ladder, I would definitely leave it in. 

Also, putting any more minions in will dilute Shadow Essence, as everything else is a massively worse pulls than what's in the deck.   In the control matches you just want it to pull Blood of G'huun every time, aggro you want Scrapyard Colossus, and Archmage Vargoth is just a freebie of course.

Breath of the Infinite is absolutely not enough to "crush" Aggro Druid. It helps, of course, but if you don't get Shadow Essence (ideally after Palm Reading) you have very little chance to win.

Fair point - while the other two really are one-sided matches, the Aggro Druid matchup is still favoured but more marginal.  It'll sneak games from under you with insane Embiggen/Patches the Pirate starts, it will steal some midgames with Voracious Reader, or lock you out of even playing Shadow Essence with Infectious Sporeling if you run out of spot removal.  Removing Breath of the Infinite will hurt the Aggro Druid matchup for sure though.

You can absolutely win without Shadow Essence by stalling until you get enough mana to hardcast big stuff.  You can also win by running out Archmage Vargoth on t4 and using res spells to pull him back - 2 Vargoths for a 2 mana resurrect will ruin aggro druid's tempo

Yeah, Vargoth is more flimsy (2 x Savage Roar, really?) but he can get the job done. Anyway thanks for sharing :)

so...i was only on about platinum 10 when i wrote this... I took blood of ancient and doctor back out, and just put a Khartut Defender and a Holy Nova.

Went to Diamond 5 super fast with it. 10 win streak, loss to mirror, 11 win streak, loss to mirror, 22-2.

once at Diamond 5, I saw where Breath of the Infinite helps with all the agro decks so put it back in.

honorable mention to pick Mind Blast from Palm Reading if you have several Archmage Vargoth in the res pool. had a great OTK with 4 of them up and a few others with 2 for killing blow.
